    Greggo, Mac or gase? Because greggo's defense have been in the lower half of the league since he returned. Usually the lower 3rd.

    because it usually ends very poorly..Mike Sherman, Mike Holmgren.. Coaches are generally self aware enough to know that coaching is a full time job and while they expect to have a say, they usually recognize they need to work with the GM...not BE the GM

    The word is one of the sticking points was hiring greggo. Gase didn't want him.

    Yes, actually. There were many indications prior to Whaley being let go that he was on his way out and was intentionally kept through the draft. The Jets move is a reaction to Gase and Mac having major problems with each other that's been reported for a couple months from hiring Gregg Williams, signing Bell, etc. Gase also was not present at the draft for the Jets which is..unusual.

    I don't see any problem with this. He wasn't brought in to be a mentor. It's not like signing an aging backup.

    I don't like running into brick walls so...no. I heard Poyer and his wife are having marital difficulties though and I would take a run at her.

    At the least, he seems dedicated to his workout regime and putting himself physically in a good position to succeed. No idea why people spin this into a negative beyond he's currently the whipping boy that people on here want to get rid of for no reason.

    Such a beast that he had less tackles than their injured safety (maye) who only played 5 games.. ..maybe he gets back on track this year, but he hasn't been a "beast" for a couple years now

    The dolphins are trying to tank..and he thinks they'll do better than last season and that the Jets are going to do better with the losing coach from that season. Solid logic there.

    I read a lot of AFC East forums and there's some...familiarity with certain posters on this board from other forums. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the folks who are in the "Every single move the Bills make is the wrong one" crowd aren't actually Bills fans..
