You can't explain it. Someone either "gets it" or they don't. Most good comedy comes from conflict. Be it internal, emotional, racial, religious, etc. Sadly, most great comedians struggle with their own line of conflict. When you can view the world in a way that 95% of the world doesn't....it can get lonely. You take chances with your words or sometimes actions because in the end, "it's all just a game". A truly funny person doesn't care what anyone else thinks....they are working for those who "get it", even if at times it is only for themselves.

This guy is 5x the talent Maybin is. Maybin has an amazing burst from the line....problem is, that is all he has. He's undersized, his center of gravity is too high, his lateral movement is lacking, his IQ is dangerously close to his jersey number. Moats is built like a football player, stout and with a low center of gravity. His burst is similar to Maybin, but he is strong enough to shed blockers on the move. He seems to have instincts in rushing the passer like a good RB does for hitting a hole. He's a good egg. He probably could have been a trooper and slowly come along inside, but it is crazy not to let him play where he belongs. If this kid isn't a football player, I'll go bang Irv Weinstien.

That's what got me about our encounter.....he basically pulled a Ko Simpson on me. He was sitting by himself on a bench where I worked, and as I walked by, I said something to the effect of Good luck on Sunday, I hope you knock the snot out of Willie McInist. He looked at me like I said to go F his mother...made a face, didn't say a word, and burried his head. The kicker was....the guy he was with came up to order food from me, and must have been in the bathroom or something before...and was bragging about how the food was for John Fina and to make sure it's good. Now....I NEVER thought once of doing anything to anyone's food in my life....but with those two guys.........here was a mediocre guy in the NFL, who obviously juiced...acting to a kid like he was the King of Egypt. I can't think of one other athlete other than Shannon Sharpe that was a pure ahole. At least Sharpe was good. Oh well....not to take away from Stojan, hey I guess people can humble.....but whenever anyone asks me the biggest ahole I know....I say John Fina.

Yes....I had a run in with him as a teenager and this guy was the biggest A-hole I've ever met that was an athlete. In fact, if I saw him and his steroidless, scrawny ass last night....I would have reminded him about it. This guy should be outside. He isn't huge, but his center of gravity is lower than Maybin, Eliis, and those types. He is smooth and explosive. If you showed me the combine tape alone....I would say he should be a 2nd round pick at worst. I think they found a player in this guy and as long as they don't F him up.....I will give him a year to make his point. At worst we have a Mark Maddox in my opinion.

Great post. Modrak has a history of chosing high picks with one flashy physical quality, yet lacking in overall football makeup be it mental, or the entire athletic package. I watch a guy like David Nelson and he is everything Hardy wasn't. He finds open space, makes cuts, shields defenders, gets the ball, doesn't make mental mistakes....now he isn't a burner and isn't overly physical, but it is amazing how this front office misses with so many top picks, but lunchpail guys with football IQ end up taking top roles.
