  1. Agreed. Trading up for Lynch and wasting valuable picks would be an asinine move on the part of the Bills. He doesn't warrant a trade up, especially with Tyrod set as the starter for this year. St. Louis is likely to take a QB at 15. Maybe Cook, maybe they consider Lynch, as well. Depending on how the Fitzpatrick situation shakes out with the Jest, they are also a possibility to take Lynch at 20. If either Cook or Lynch are there at 31, Denver will certainly pull the trigger, IMO. Best case for the Bills, Fitz doesn't re-sign with the Jest and somebody (Denver?) tries to get ahead of them by trading into the Bills pick at 19.
  2. They're mock drafts....for the purpose of sheer folly and entertainment until the real draft rolls around. There's not a chance in hell that half the guys in my last draft will be there. So what? It's interesting to see what is available when you pick and how it changes based upon the board selected. None of the so called "experts" come close to getting even the 1st Round correct. Enjoy it or ignore it. No biggie either way.
  3. 4. Look up-thread three posts.
  5. Never either liked nor disliked the man but, whenever I heard his name, my odd mind always turned to former Bills LB Eugene Marve.
  6. In your case, yes. After all, you ARE Canadian. (j/k)
  7. Huh?? It happens all the time. In the 2015 draft alone, two teams moved up near where the Bills are this year: San Diego from 17 to 15 & Denver from 28 to 23. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000481429/article/2015-nfl-draft-trade-tracker-details-of-all-the-moves
  8. And yet when it comes time to beat the Little Sisters of the Poor outside of their own division, they fall flat time after time. I never said they suck but after 16 years of the same results...regardless of the coach, regardless of the GM, regardless of the scheme, regardless of the schedule...the proof is in the pudding. Until they prove that they can overtake NE, it's hard to think otherwise. It's put up or shut up. The mere fact that you're saying that they just need to "steal one from the pats" shows that they're not on NE's level. "Stealing one" implies that things have to go right to get a game that they shouldn't win. Until they stop being B & B's b*itch, nothing will change.
  9. That's based mostly on Michael Robinson's belief that Tyrod Taylor is a "franchise QB". That remains to be seen. To this point in FA and with the draft not having taken place yet, it's hard to see the Bills challenging for the AFC East title...unless Brady suffers some kind of career-ending injury in the off-season.
  10. Some people will, yes. I'm not one of them. I don't particularly care for his antics but I can live with them, especially if the team wins. After all, do any of us really have a choice? As a fan, you don't get a say in who they hire or fire. I wasn't thrilled with the hire but hoped/hope he does well, just like I do for anyone who dons a Bills uniform or has anything to do with their success in any capacity.
  11. Rex was very subdued in that interview, almost contrite; however, when Steve Wyche mentioned what Thurman Thomas said about Rex having "learned his lesson" from last year, Rex responded with, "I'm still gonna be me." A leopard doesn't change his spots. At some point, the bombastic buffoon in Rex will re-emerge. For now, enjoy the kinder, gentler Rex.
  12. The same NFL Network that once proudly employed Warren Sapp and Darren Sharper...
  13. "Having my brother on staff, I think, is going to be a huge thing for us." Literally.
  14. Used the 'With the First Pick' board because it was the most recently updated (3/26). No way this scenario plays out but I'd do cartwheels over this draft, if it did: 19: R1P19 ILB REGGIE RAGLAND ALABAMA 49: R2P18 CB MACKENSIE ALEXANDER CLEMSON 80: R3P17 DT CHRIS JONES MISSISSIPPI STATE 118: R4P19 LB DARRON LEE OHIO STATE 140: R4P41 K ROBERTO AGUAYO FLORIDA STATE 157: R5P17 WR CHARONE PEAKE CLEMSON 193: R6P17 DE RONALD BLAIR APPALACHIAN STATE 219: R6P43 QB KEVIN HOGAN STANFORD
  15. Apparently, the Wenro were wiped out there by the Iroquois. I wouldn't put much stock in a pioneer curse. lol If that were the case, I'd suggest sacrificing Merlin Olsen or Michael Landon but the good Lord already beat us to that.
  16. Can we just offer up Flutie as a sacrifice to the local Native Americans? Everybody wins! Then, rename the stadium 'Wenro Interment Field at The Ralph'. "Welcome aboard 'The Glory Hole Express'! Servicing the privileged non-stop...from Buffalo Niagara International to 'Wenro Interment Field at The Ralph' and back."

  18. I like Tyrod, honestly...but that was just too easy.
  19. Don't worry, he's only reading half of it...
  20. Yeah, in the same context as, "You're pretty...for a fat girl."
  21. Yes...a one day contract with Buffalo to retire as a Bill. It's Fred's turn...to retire.
