  1. The NFL has favored the offense in every way in recent years because higher scoring games are far more interesting to the casual fan. And more casual fans equals more money.
  2. CBS with Spread (Bills -0.5) : Even split, 4 picks each. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/against-the-spread/14) CBS Straight Up: No surprise with a non-existent spread, also even split, 4 picks each. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/14) ESPN: 9 and Pick'em took the Bills and 4 took the Eagles. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsoft Cortana (Went 10 - 6 in week 13): Bills win 55% chance. (http://www.cortanapredictions.com/) FiveThirtyEight: (Went 10 - 5 in week 13 with one non-prediction): Eagles 55% chance of winning with an Elo point spread of 1.5. (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2015-nfl-predictions/) Amos: (Went 11 - 5 in week 13) Eagles win 59% chance. (http://trevorbischoff.com/nfl-2015-week-14-predictions/) FiveThirtyEight predicts a 8 - 8 season record for the Bills this season with a 20% (down from 22%) chance of making the playoffs and a less than 1% chance of winning it all. Amos predicts a 9 - 7 season record for the Bills. SportsClubStats (http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL/AFC/AFCEast/Buffalo.html) predicts a record of 8 - 8 for the Bills this season with a 19.8% (up from 17.9%) chance of making the playoffs.
  3. I haven't looked myself, but todays announcers said the Bills had to run the table and get a fair amount of help to even have a chance of making it in.
  4. Thank god Hoyer sucks and can't throw the deep ball too or the end result might have been different. 4 different times a Texan receiver was well behind the secondary and Hoyer floated the pass short and gave the safties time to recover. But props to the OLine containing Watt for the most part today.
  5. Even spilt. Like everywhere else, a very close game is expected that could go either way.
  6. Added CBS and Cortana.
  7. Every year we see this thread. And every year it is only the losses that could have easily gone the other way, not the wins. Maybe some year when the Bills actually have meaningful games in [late] December we won't see it.
  8. Like I said, Rex probably thinks he is a good coach and is fine the way he is. Terry Pegula should have known better than to give out that kind of a contract without getting a consultant first because it was his first hire. That is all on him. As a businessman of considerable experience he should know better.
  9. Many here have given 16 years or more of sucking. How much more time would you like them to give? Or is next year THE year ... again ... But ultimately most will suck it up and wait. They are Bills fans after all, that's what they do, for better or for worse.
  10. No reason to be pissed at Rex. He probably thinks he is a good coach and is personable enough to have talked the rookie owner Pegulas into a long guaranteed contract. I can see being angry with the Pegulas for being conned by Ryan and not hiring a consultant to help them I guess. Terry Pegula at the very least should have been smarter than that. But they DID keep the Bills in Buffalo so ...
  11. Watkins strength is not yards after the catch, it's getting open and also getting the jump balls. I'd rather see screens to shady who has a insane ability to make the first guy miss.
  12. I was over it immediately. It's a freaking game man.
  13. I knew those scheduling bastages were in cahoots with those zebra bastages!
  14. Maybe he called BellyCheat and asked what their process is.
  15. My kids and I surmised the crowd noise made TT hear the play wrong on his radio We replayed it 2 or 3 times thinking it was a rare sight not likely seen again in our lifetimes
  16. Please don't feed the trolls. Thank you.
  17. My wife just got dirt cheap tickets for sundays game on some aftermarket site. The fire sale on tickets has already begun!
  18. If that happens all hell will break loose, but only Sunday and Monday. There will be the requisite fire Ryan/Roman/Whaley/Carpenter and some others threads, and of course the ones about how the officiating cost the Bills the game. But starting Tuesday or so things will calm down and the thoughts will turn to next season. A short lived hell breaking loose if you will Oh and I almost forgot the threads on how the Bills aren't mathematically eliminated yet!
  19. Says a Bills fan. I strongly suspect you can find homer fans from the other .500 ish and worse teams that say the same thing about their team. You and others here see the games through red and blue colored glasses.
  20. Wow usually don't hear that kind of stuff out of Ryan.
