  1. How is that possible? They don't allow any douchebag Pats* fans in to watch the games?????
  2. So fans of quality football go when the team is good, and the drunken !@#$s go when they are not. That's not hard to believe.
  3. Not me man, sell out every game before they go on sale to the general public!!!
  4. That would be quite staggering if true. I've never been to an NFL game except at the Ralph, but the power drinking by some all day long can only lead to bad things.
  5. So is the point of this thread that in the past despite what players said they never trusted any previous system, but now they REALLY do? Before they were lying, but now we know for sure that they REALLY trust this new system that has just recently been shown to most of them? REALLY?
  6. Because God hates the Bills and their fans. Didn't you get the memo?
  7. I took one of my sons to that once. It was on a weekend and we had a fantastic time. Tailgated with some people and then sat in the first row and watched the entire practice. He loved being able to hear what the coaches were saying to the players. Afterwards the players came over to sign stuff for the kids like at camp. Great stuff.
  8. I don't think this particular incident was because it was the Bills. The talking heads and the rest of the media thought, and probably still think, EJ was a middle of the pack QB in this years draft so they didn't include him. Nix thinks differently. In a couple years we will see who was right.
  9. Makes perfect sense. The Billievers are flying high right now so selling them tickets before camp/preseason is a smart biz move. I hope they sell out every game before camp even starts!
  10. When I am on my deathbed I sincerely doubt the Bills will be on my mind at all. It is interesting though that you think being a realist is approaching absurd.
  11. Teams can only make offers that are in their best interest. Players can only take offers that are in their best interest. Nothing you can do but move on. If Nix thought this team was close and this player was the missing piece to the puzzle then a one year deal would make complete sense. With so much turnover I certainly don't think this is any more than a[nother] rebuild year. Signing an expensive one year deal in a rebuild year makes no sense at all.
  12. 11 + 3 = 16. makes you proud to be a Bills fan doesn't it. But, his heart is in the right place anyway
  13. Lots said the same of Gailey if memory serves. And it was true, unfortunately the direction was down Gotta love the off season
  14. My oldest is looking forward to watching all the new QBs work out. You can get a great look at their mechanics and accuracy when you are so close.
  15. Agreed that the complete coaching turnover plus all new QBs will make it interesting, particularly at first. But admit it, you will watch every game even after you find out like the rest of us
  16. It's been stated before, but at the elite professional level like these guys are, if it takes a coach, other players, their wives, other players wives, their mothers, or anyone else to motivate them then you simply have the wrong guys. The Bills have had enough intangible bull **** the last 13 years mainly because when teams fans talk about intangibles it almost always means the team sucks. How about something tangible for a change, something refreshing like oh .... maybe winning more games than you lose.
  17. I agree to a point. But back then TVs were small and low definition and VHS quality was even worse than that. Now you have large TVs, very clean HD broadcasts, and the online ability to view multiple cameras of your choice. Also throw in the significant expense of going to a game (magnified if you have a family) as well as the inconvenience (traffic, drunks etc.) and you can see why stadium attendance is going down. But there will always be enough of a hardcore group of fans who love the "game day experience" to fill a reasonable amount of stadium seats. I wouldn't call it anywhere near a majority though. The games that don't sell out 70,000 seats at the Ralph for example, how many people do you think are watching on TV in Buffalo? And I do agree that eating wings cooked on the hood of Kenny's pinto and washing them down with a bowling ball shot is by far the best way to prepare for a Bills game!
  18. Any true Billievers who are also gamblers will probably jump on these two if they can get someone to take bets now. Week three, Buffalo at NY Jets -3.5 Week seven, Buffalo at Miami -4
  19. Then he should get the ring back. Hopefully he will learn his lesson and put that money to a better use. 3/4 million dollars buys a lot of lap dances at the Sundowner.
  20. I think CU is far better looking than FH, and her voice is far superior. So as long as they dress CU hot and let her sing instead of coming up with some hillbilly horseshit song this is definitely an upgrade.
  21. Crazy when you think about it. Almost 3 hours duration for a game that has an hours worth of clock time. And out of that hour, there is less than 30 minutes of action. But I'm like you, I love watching the Bills game sans commercials.
  22. To make it in 30 minutes they must strip out all the whitespace and just show nothing but the plays. I'm OK with the ~70 minutes I get
  23. I know Macs can emulate windows and run Windows apps, but I'm not sure about DirectX ones like these are. I don't do Mac so I can't be of any more help than that
  24. 'Tis the time of year to Billieve
  25. Maybe what they should do as a courtesy to the fans at the games is not have the TV timeouts at the stadium. TV can show the commercials and show the rest of the game on a delay. That way the people at the game don't have to sit through the commercials and get out of the game (and back to the post-game tailgate) that much quicker while the people watching on TV watch as long as it takes with all the commercials. Why punish the people paying the $$$ to go to the game? That also would allow TV to show as many commercials as they want without affecting the game itself. Damn, I should have King Rogers job
