  1. That does not affect the running game ... and either did the skins yesterday. The Bills running game does not concern me much as long as Spiller stays healthy. However, the Bills opponents being able to run at will against the Bills D is very concerning.
  2. I will be interesting to see what they were able to dig up. But whenever I see "Drawing on the forthcoming book" you have to be wary of them trying to hype the book and the facts be dammed.
  3. Actually it's a bit worse than that. The Bills blitzed quite a bit again yesterday which they diid not do last season. But most of the time the skins (3rd and 4th) QB had all day to go through their progressions and make the completion. Was what we saw yesterday the reason Wanny did not blitz last season? Hopefully not, but we will begin to see in just a couple weeks.
  4. I don't think he will physically abuse them Monday. Not with another game Thursday night. But, I would not want to be in any meetings with any of the coaches today or tomorrow. I'm sure all of them, particularly the #1's, will be getting multiple ears full.
  5. According to the Bills homer announcers yesterday, Marrone was curious to see how his team did against a physical team like the skins. Sadlly, he did. Not the end of the world of course, but making the skins 3rd and 4th QB's look reasonable (I thought Pat White looked very good and Grossman looked bad) in the 3rd preseason game is not a good sign. Along with no answer to a running game was concerning as well. I was not, and am not, expecting much this season. Steady improvement throughout the season on both sides of the ball setting up for a strong 2014. I still think that is possible.
  6. I question the logic of any team paying big $$$ to a player, who doesn't want to be on that team, for one season. I would think as a GM/coach you would go out of your way NOT to do that.
  7. My kids are trying to figure out a way to get to camp today to see if Manuel is out on the field at least observing.
  8. Yeah I remember watching the replay of Fridays game and seeing Marrone looking like his stomach was churning after the D got called for lining up offsides.
  9. But, for the price of one roster position you get emergency backups for four positions. I'd like to see them keep Tuel as well. In my opinion the kid has earned that much. But I can see where Marrone might not want to cut Smith.
  10. Or ... Marrone knows that Manuel will not be starting against the Pats and he is saying "minor" every other word to try and get BellyCheat to waste time game planning for Manuel. There are always a lot of head games going on when it comes to player injuries. But I guess we will know soon enough. But the bolded, yikes. That is so nonsensical I have to believe you are making some kind of joke.
  11. If you take out commercials and halftime its generally about 75 minutes of action in the 3 hour game
  12. No she trimmed it down to just the 1/2 gallon essentials
  13. They just scrolled a quote from Marrone on NFLN saying they will evaluate Manuel in 2 weeks when he comes back and that they were not looking for another QB now.
  14. My kids are autograph tent pros. They get there early and get in the top players (today Gilmore) line. Then they get the one of both of the other 2. My oldest got his McLovin jersey autographed. He was very happy because it is an older #28 jersey and Leodis signed it #28 instead of his current number.
  15. Everyone there is in church my friend
  16. Makes sense. Minor or not, he did have a surgical procedure on his knee. So of course he will be re-evaluated in a couple weeks. Hopefully this is the end of it but we will see.
  17. My wife brought in a jacket and put all her crap in a freezer bag and carried it in. Once inside she put all the crap into the jacket pockets and threw out the bag. An annoyance but not enough to keep her out of the Ralph last night.
  18. But all of the whining for 8 pages so far is OK? In my opinion he made a rational and level headed post. Many do not expect the team to do great this season. If you do that's fantastic and I hope you are correct. Then you reference the, apparently negative, thought of Tuel starting against the Pats* when Kolb so far is healthy and all we know about Manuel at the moment is that he needs a minor procedure and will miss the remainder of the preseason ,,, no mention by the Bills of being out against the Pats*. With all due respect, you came off as the idiot in that exchange.
  19. Yeah according to facebook presence ... EJ Manuel to have minor procedure in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the preseason.
  20. That would slow down traffic far too much. But can you imagine if they did that unannounced after a September regular season game? They could probably fund the stadium renovations from all the DUI fines alone.
  21. Cheers to the most honest post of the day
  22. There is no metric to use at this point. But I guess there is a 50% chance of being right with a guess.
  23. It's blacked out locally.
  24. Gee I must be psychic, I knew what the consensus answer to the question was as soon as I saw the topic
  25. Ohhhh yeah I completely forgot to mention the fireworks after the game. My kids always enjoy those.
