  1. ESPN and CBS (with and without 7.5 spread) all pick the Saints. But this was almost true last week with the fins, with the same spread. But unfortunately Saints >>>>>>>>> fish so I say Aints by 10.
  2. I'm not sure his first game back being against the KC defense would be such a great thing.
  3. No need to insult third graders!
  4. Not to mention that one was a pick-6 and the other gave the Bills the ball in game winning field goal range. The defense won that game for sure. But that's all part of team sports.
  5. I would prefer to wait until they are better. Watching the bad game the Bills and fish played Sunday during prime time would be as embarrassing as the Giants Vikings game was last night for their fans.
  6. Generally if a HC is going to lie to the media, they lie in order to protect a player, not throw one under a bus to cover their own ass. Quickest way to lose a team is to do what you are suggesting Marrone did. He is simply not that stupid.
  7. All Spiller did last week was hurt the team. I applaud his willingness to play through the pain, but Hackett and certainly Marrone should have known better. All Spiller did was aggravate the ankle further and put this week in jeopardy. He should be out until he can be effective. As to the bolded, that's what pretty much everyone said about the fish last week as well.
  8. Well, that apparently is not what Marrone wanted.
  9. Well, to be fair, they also gave up an early 10 point lead as well. That has been shown this entire season so far.
  10. Yeah he may well have saved the game with that tackle. The bigger question is why he kicked it so short in the first place.
  11. It was a tough game to watch from a quality standpoint, but you are right. Any win is a good win. And a division win twice as much. +1
  12. This post with no mention of the pre-halftime blunder makes me wonder if you even watched the game or just watched highlights. The Bills are not a good team this year. A lot of rookies. A lot of injuries. A practice squad QB is starting for gods sake (and is doing far better than expected in my opinion thus far). Couple this with rookie coaches and it is amazing that they aren't doing the 0-fer with the Giants. It is a credit to the fight in this team that they are doing as well as they are, such that some late game heroics from key players allowed them to win this past game as a prime example. Certainly Marrone has made mistakes, and some whoppers so far this season. But he is a rookie at this level as well. Comparing him to a Andy Reid this year is absurd. Hopefully he will continue to learn in this rebuild season along with Manuel and the other players of the future.
  13. Wow that was one bad game played by both teams. The Bills D won that game for sure between the pic-6 and the strip/recovery that allowed the winning field goal. I'm not sure what was up with that last Bills kickoff. If that was a called returnable kick, whoever called it needs to be fired immediately. The fish damn near ended the game right there. The good about that game: 1) The Bills won. 2) Mario waking up at the end. 3) Fred.
  14. FWIW, the talking heads seriously disagree with you. ESPN: 12 say fish with 1 picking the Bills. CBS with spread (fish -7.5): 5 fish 3 Bills CBS no spread: 7 fish 2 Bills
  15. And you don't think that extrapolates to a wide receiver with feet in the EZ but the ball not breaking the plane? Agree to disagree.
  16. s. I've been reading that here after every loss for 13 years and counting.
  17. Did you see 11.2 above? The ball never crosses the goal line (breaks the plane) but it is a TD.
  18. PS ... bring beer and peelers (or is that only a western Canada term??)
  19. Marv had much more confidence in his offenses ability to move down the field the rest of the game as well.
  20. It took 9 posts before someone asked. I'm so through with this team forum!
  21. bull ****. It was a stupid trade at the time as well as now. The Bills FO only seemed to want boy scouts at the time and it bit them in the ass. The bolded above is simply ridiculous and sounds like it came from a Bills press release.
  22. Here here! I must say I am a little relieved. When I saw the title I thought you were bailing
  23. The NFL is actively marketing the game in Europe so it would not be a stretch for them to someday in the not to distant future try and have a team or two in Europe. In my opinion it is unlikely the team owner(s) would be Americans in that case.
  24. I used to travel down there many years ago and it seemed to not be a rivalry for them even at that time. It seemed to only exist for Bills fans.
  25. It was the other knee this time.
