  1. Yeah he may well have saved the game with that tackle. The bigger question is why he kicked it so short in the first place.
  2. It was a tough game to watch from a quality standpoint, but you are right. Any win is a good win. And a division win twice as much. +1
  3. This post with no mention of the pre-halftime blunder makes me wonder if you even watched the game or just watched highlights. The Bills are not a good team this year. A lot of rookies. A lot of injuries. A practice squad QB is starting for gods sake (and is doing far better than expected in my opinion thus far). Couple this with rookie coaches and it is amazing that they aren't doing the 0-fer with the Giants. It is a credit to the fight in this team that they are doing as well as they are, such that some late game heroics from key players allowed them to win this past game as a prime example. Certainly Marrone has made mistakes, and some whoppers so far this season. But he is a rookie at this level as well. Comparing him to a Andy Reid this year is absurd. Hopefully he will continue to learn in this rebuild season along with Manuel and the other players of the future.
  4. Wow that was one bad game played by both teams. The Bills D won that game for sure between the pic-6 and the strip/recovery that allowed the winning field goal. I'm not sure what was up with that last Bills kickoff. If that was a called returnable kick, whoever called it needs to be fired immediately. The fish damn near ended the game right there. The good about that game: 1) The Bills won. 2) Mario waking up at the end. 3) Fred.
  5. FWIW, the talking heads seriously disagree with you. ESPN: 12 say fish with 1 picking the Bills. CBS with spread (fish -7.5): 5 fish 3 Bills CBS no spread: 7 fish 2 Bills
  6. And you don't think that extrapolates to a wide receiver with feet in the EZ but the ball not breaking the plane? Agree to disagree.
  7. s. I've been reading that here after every loss for 13 years and counting.
  8. Did you see 11.2 above? The ball never crosses the goal line (breaks the plane) but it is a TD.
  9. PS ... bring beer and peelers (or is that only a western Canada term??)
  10. Marv had much more confidence in his offenses ability to move down the field the rest of the game as well.
  11. It took 9 posts before someone asked. I'm so through with this team forum!
  12. bull ****. It was a stupid trade at the time as well as now. The Bills FO only seemed to want boy scouts at the time and it bit them in the ass. The bolded above is simply ridiculous and sounds like it came from a Bills press release.
  13. Here here! I must say I am a little relieved. When I saw the title I thought you were bailing
  14. The NFL is actively marketing the game in Europe so it would not be a stretch for them to someday in the not to distant future try and have a team or two in Europe. In my opinion it is unlikely the team owner(s) would be Americans in that case.
  15. I used to travel down there many years ago and it seemed to not be a rivalry for them even at that time. It seemed to only exist for Bills fans.
  16. It was the other knee this time.
  17. Yeah it sometimes helps to read the entire thing you are quoting
  18. I can only imagine what New Orleans Molson Girls look like. Ship them up north after and put Jills uniforms on them please
  19. On this forum no Bill ever holds, but some Bill is getting held on every play.
  20. Because you are a Bills fan 4-ever.
  21. I somewhat agree. As far as what the defense can do regarding hitting someone I agree completely. I'm left wondering sometimes if the choices defenders have in a lot of cases is take a 15 yard penalty or let the opponent go in for the score. However in the KW case I disagree completely. All players should know by now that actively getting in someones face (and he did, he specifically went over to the player to do so) can be flagged. It might not always be, and in fact it might almost never be, but it can be. Therefore instead of doing the stupid thing and risk the penalty, you suck it up then and perhaps show the other player your displeasure at a later time by means of putting him on his ass (preferably legally, but strongly) rather then just talking trash. Kinda the hockey philosophy of payback.
  22. Maybe Russ got a really good deal on white pom poms but would have had to pay more for blue ones.
  23. I imagine pretty much everyone here loves the idea of the Bills winning out the rest of the season. But those same people have also watched the games so far and know that isn't happening, not even if they REALLY Billieve But I say dare to dream
  24. Sad and true both at the same time. What a crime that Miller is on the Sabres. He deserves to be on a team that is not a joke. I feel bad that he is wasting this season.
  25. The same claims are made every week here, particularly after a loss but even after a win (albeit fewer). Do you really believe the Bills could possibly get the short end of the reffing stick every game? Not singling you out, just making a general comment.
