  1. Extremely well put and I could not possibly agree more.
  2. The Stillers are very VERY beatable this year. In my opinion any healthy Bills QB is good enough to win this game. But beating a very bad Stillers team does not prove the Bills are a good team.
  3. i can't answer for him, but for myself I thoroughly enjoy sporting events with my entire family. I just find it an enjoyable experience. It's not for my kids, it's not for my wife, it's not for me, it's for us all. I choose and prefer not to do it at the Ralph for many well documented reasons, but we have fun at FNC as well as watching Bills and Sabres games on TV (even in bad years such at this ).
  4. Thanks for posting Coach! Glad you all enjoyed yourselves!
  5. I had forgotten about the "white out" until one of my kids pointed out while we were watching on TV that except for a couple white pom poms, there sure wasn't much white in the stands. Epic fail indeed.
  6. That whole "i'm not going to talk to anyone, pet my dog" is all bull ****. Marrone is pissed? Well welcome to the club Doug. They are how many games into the season, losing far more games than they have won, and NOW he is pissed. You can't really think anything about that statement is going to make the Bills a winner. Geez Doug, did your dog put the team into the situation where when the starting QB went down there was no viable backup and you had to look at every practice squad and unemployed QB in the league for one? If so, do us all a favor and fire that little !@#$er.
  7. Crowd mentality dictates a scapegoat is needed in this situation.
  8. How bout the Steelers. I think the Bills win that game regardless of who the Bills QB is. I don't know about 8-8, but I'd very happily put some money on the Bills finishing better than 3-13.
  9. I agree. Whatever QB plays for the Bills should have a good day. And the Bills D should should smother the Steelers as well.
  10. I have not seen one ounce of give-up in the Bills play in any game since Manuel went down. I expect more of the same this week if Manuel plays or not. I don't know if it's due to being a young team, or Marrones doing, or both, but I can't help but be impressed with the teams fight this season. Unfortunately all the fight in the world can't overcome lack of talent (depth at least).
  11. SJ13 also had a chance to redeem himself later in that same play. Once the pass was picked off, instead of trying to tackle the defender like he should have, SJ threw his arms up in the air and turned away in a temper tantrum. It is quite possible he could have prevented the TD on that play, and the way the Bills D was playing lights out could have helped his team pull the game out.
  12. Well if the pass had been completed many posts would have been made proclaiming the call a stroke of genius. As to the bolded, I was thinking that same thing about the KC offensive game plan. Reid willingly took the ball out of his best players hands and had his pedestrian QB throw it all day? I figured at halftime Reid would have come to his senses, but he still did not!
  13. Yeah Marrone said in the presser that there was no bone injury (x-rays negative), but Woods could not put his full weight on it so that's why he did not return to the game.
  14. Really? Not even a "I hope the Bills make damn sure this situation never happens again by getting a viable backup QB and/or preparing said backup QB appropriately" discussion?
  15. What defines control is the bigger question. Does having it trapped in his elbow, which is where he had it, constitute control? I wouldn't think so, and my guess is that's why it was ruled incomplete and not overturned. But that's just my guess.
  16. I hope it is Manuel only because it would be nice to ease him back into it against a bad Steeler defense. Whichever Bills QB plays next week should do well.
  17. Do you know how moronic this sounds? Don't you think Marrone wanted Manuel playing yesterday? Do you think Manuel is watching just for the hell or it? C'mon man.
  18. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  19. I agree. He never had it completely. The call was correct. The sad thing is, if the pass were not underthrown it was an easy completion.
  20. I also like the teams direction in general. But every team, even the Bills, are exactly as good as their record. No better and no worse.
  21. I agree completely about the game day experience and the TV timeouts. But how do they get rid of the majority of TV timeouts yet still get the ungodly amount of money they get from the TV contracts? The NFL cannot survive in it's current state with it's current pay scale without the TV money.
  22. At least so far in his career my opinion exactly. Break one for 40 yards followed by 3 for no gain and out and you have a 10 YPC but the team has no points to show for it. That is CJ in a nutshell so far to me.
  23. You guys couldn't be more wrong in my opinion. People don't go to games because they are afraid they won't see the game if it does not sell out. They go because they love being at the game and the whole "game day experience". That will not change, blackout rule or no blackout rule.
  24. I've only been to the one by the fieldhouse, so thats the one i meant
  25. That is some serious Tuel-time anti-lovin'.
