i don't think it devalues the NFL at all and it would not have affected Pegula's offer. Rice admitted he hit her long before the video came out. The fact that he hit the woman should have surprised no one when the video came out. The fact that the NFL had the video just shows that the NFL is comprised of scumbags who are more concerned with the tarnishing of their brand and the fiscal impact than anything else. But again, this is not news to anyone who follows the NFL. We will never truly know what all the bids were for the Bills. But if Pegula outbid by 400 million he made a uncharacteristic mistake.

Sadly being respectful absolutely is not enough at the Ralph. Women, children, no one is safe which is very embarrassing and sad particularly when you hear of Bills fans experiences on the road when they go to road games. The best thing is not to paint a target on your head by wearing any phish gear.

A lot of the time I either have audio off (because of hating the announcers) or I'm not paying attention to them so it really would make no difference to me if people are there or not. I could not care less if there is the background noise of a crowd there or not. That's just me though. But if they played a crowd noise soundtrack behind the announcers and didn't pan to the stands after a touchdown or big play, would you really notice the difference on TV? I don't think many would. Except the Lambeau Leap perhaps

He probably believes it ... Jerrah: Why the !@#$ were all those !@#$ing 49'er fans in my stadium?!?!?! Marketing Dude (fearing for his job): But Mr. Jones sir, Bay Area people are all moving for better jobs to north Texas! Jerrah: Ok then. At least they paid for tickets. Where is that stripper I had my picture taken with a few weeks ago?

NFL and NFLPA Implement New Drug Policy
CodeMonkey replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would certainly hope so. Particularly in places that it is legal. -
I would not call the Pats questionable just yet. I would say Chicago has the potential to be a good or even a very good team. The played like a good team last Sunday but made some very big, very bad mistakes. Particularly the last one by Cutler with the pick by the Bills lock down corner Kyle Williams For me last week I expected no one to take the Bills straight up, being in Chicago. But I was a bit surprised (not offended) that no one picked them with 7.5 points.

I think that some, if not most, of the owners would prefer the team in a more profitable market. But that being said I think that Pegula being a businessman with the means to buy the team without a group speaks volumes to the other owners who will vote him into the billionaire boys club unanimously.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/tomwatson/2014/01/30/the-real-super-bowl-question-should-the-nfl-be-a-nonprofit/ The NFL is classified as a non-profit and as such, exempt from federal taxes. Utilities may or may not get tax breaks depending upon where they are, but I'm pretty sure that as a whole they pay taxes. Additionally the facilities that the utilities use to make their money are not paid for by the local governments. I know it's tough to see past the man-crush on the NFL sometimes. If the NFL did not take government handouts and paid taxes like everyone else then they could black out games to their hearts content. But the way it is now is 100% bull ****.

Technically anyway, the first 3 on your list still have a say in the matter. So you know what they say about counting your chickens. But even though I have no doubt that the vast majority of owners would have preferred the team moved to a larger market, I also have no doubt that Pegula will be confirmed at the owners vote.

Wow is Eli bad!?! EJ looked good compared to this so far

The entire Giants team sucks this season. I wish they were on the Bills schedule. -
There really were a lot. But both kickers ... don't underestimate what the brand new punter did. But EJ is probably the top for me. Not that he had an all star game or anything, but he played within himself and allowed the team to win. Plus I loved his runs. Slid or got out of bounds and for the most part got his desired result.

How does this win impact your season prediction?
CodeMonkey replied to Fadingpain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was at 8ish wins and am still there. I was very encouraged to see Manuel play within himself and run smart and not take any unnecessary hits. Cutler had a good game overall, but gift wrapped it for the Bills late. The Bears offense had several other gifts today as well. Can't say I'm shedding a tear though . But as they say, all wins are good wins, on the road even better! -

Whew, makes Sully look like Mother Teresa. My favs: "It’s one thing for the Bears to lose at home to the Packers last season. But to lose to the Bills? Kill me now." "Then the Bears go to Carolina and Atlanta, neither of whom might or might not be any good, but the Bills just proved you don’t have to be a good team to beat the Bears." -
Kickers, RBs, EJ (played within himself, ran well, no big mistakes), Cutler, and the Bills new lockdown corner, Kyle Williams

Enjoy those winnings OP
