  1. That is showing stubhub which I do not believe shows seats for sale by the Bills at all. You need to go to ticketmaster.com to see seats available for sale by the venue as these are the only ones used to determine a blackout. PS If anyone here works for ticketmaster, putting a count of total tickets available for sale for both the venue as well as by other means would be a very nice add to the page.
  2. But how many bids, will there be an NDA, are the bids non-binding first then binding ... so many questions
  3. Sorry for getting back on topic, but I just took a quick look and there are still some seats available. There also seems to be more resales available than from the venue which makes sense for a preseason game which means not much hope of venue tickets selling out. Hopefully someone (Pegula or JBJ ) steps in and buys the rest and donates them to some kids organization (being kids day and all).
  4. From every player in history that has gotten into off-field "issues".
  5. Could mean that coaches have seen the light regarding starting rookie QBs and decided it was a stupid thing to do in all but the most extreme (Luck) cases.
  6. It's the NFL ... the NFL is driven primarily by greed ... so yeah this makes sense. The surprising thing is they didn't do this years ago. What this will probably mean is the end of the recent geriatric bands performing, and seeing newer "up & coming" bands/performers where the cost-benefit analysis of performing to a huge audience makes sense. All in all I don't have a problem with it. Simply free enterprise. And it might actually make it worth watching ... you know while you are taking a leak or getting chili or beer
  7. Browns fans that I know seem to think Connor Shaw ("Shawsome") is the answer over JF.
  8. That's exactly what it is. Show me the money baby!
  9. OK, best derogatory name for him so far
  10. A game or two for that? Really? According to ESPN:
  11. And the Trust/MS perspective is the only one that matters at all.
  12. No. They show both tickets for sale by the venue and ones for sale by other means.
  13. You just described 90% of major sport professional athletes.
  14. He should have answered "Out for the season". And once all of the Tweeters pressed send ... "Just kidding. Now STFU".
  15. Constant??? But no I don't. But I am definitely not one who puts much stock in "intangibles" in general.
  16. I agree. If things like that affect either his play or the play of his teammates (or draws a unsportsman penalty maybe?) then yes he needs to "grow up". Otherwise, I have seen people talking crap as they run off the field or back to the huddle for years. This was just that, only non-verbal
  17. I was watching when he did that. I figured someone said something about the dropped pass he had just thrown on 4th down and that was his response. Immature for sure, but is it really that big of a deal? If Manuel had done that there would be post after post here about showing confidence, or having an edge that people liked along with others condemning it. Non-issue in my mind.
  18. They interviewed Brandon during the last game and I think he said about 5000 left at that time. I just looked on ticketmaster and there appears to be quite a few left.
  19. Nah they just signed Grossman as their "veteran backup".
  20. He made at least one really nice pass over 10 yards where he didn't have a lot of room and hit the receiver in stride. Receiver dropped it after he was hit. All in all I didn't think JF looked particularly good or bad from what I saw. Hoyer though, was decidedly bad. And as someone else mentioned, I was watching on ESPN and Gruden was doing some serious JF ball washing. Probably because his kid is involved, and he was so high on JF draft day and was shocked when he didn't go in the first few picks.
  21. Me either. As I said earlier, I imagine his pricetag would be too high for a backup.
  22. I think you miss the main point. The thought is not to bring Sanchise in as a starter, but rather as a backup for Manuel. The thought of Tuel or Lewis seeing the field during the regular season is terrifying to some. The main reason I don't see it happening is because even though he was being brought in as a backup, Sanchise would still be a challenge to Manuel for the starting position and I do not believe the Bills front office wants to push Manuel for whatever reason.
  23. Patience often comes with age and experience.
  24. None of what you said (which was well stated BTW), makes me think that he could not challenge for the starting position this season, and at the very least make a much better backup than what the Bills have now. But as I said, I do not believe the Bills want competition for Manuel. And I'm not sure what the price-tag would be for Sanchise, but it might be a bit steep for a backup.
