He's ok, certainly not spectacular. And it seems like he has leveled off, he has been playing at the same level for the last couple of years. Hopefully better support will make him more of a playmaker, but, I wouldn't count on it.

He will be on someones roster in 2009. Is Bowen, a 5th rounder with a torn up knee and zero experience, really more of a keeper than Keith Ellison? Experience does count for something and so does health, Ellison is a solid reserve guy.

The signing of TO makes all other things seems feasible

Talent wise maybe we could be as good as 10-6. Talent plus coaching (or minus coaching, if you will) we are at 5-11 or so. Take the under.

They went 0-6 last year against the dividion but the games were all later in the season, when everyone had DJs game completely figured out. I'm thinking we go 1-5 against the division this year, win one of the early ones, before everyone has figured the 2009 DJ squad out too. All the other coaches in our division, are significantly more clever than DJ. I promise. So they will figure him out, but not vice versa.

I dont see how you can balem the coaches. There is bad weather, dammit, that is the issue here!

Even the blind robin sometimes gets the worm. Lets hope Maybin is an anomoly, a young player who can play through DJs "coaching" and still become an exceptional player. Did not work so far for Whitner, Poz, McCargo, etc. etc. They all have been coached down instead of up, and coupld nopt overcome that. Wpould these guys have been better with better coaching. In my opinion, yes.
