  1. Yes, and it sometimes works sometimes no. Risking a high second round pick on a guy that you are going to move out of his natural position, just isn't a good move. "projected to be"... I would prefer if we spent our 2nd round pick on someone who "is". Maybe it works and they are genius. Just as likely, the guy is a corner only, or needs 2 years to learn his new position, and in the meantime we push out good players for him to be on the team while he may or may not successfully convert, and George Wilson (another guy we 'converted') is starting. Nothing against George, I like him plenty, but he is not a super cover guy or hitter, just average. Snags the occasional INT though which is more than can be said of our "star" safety, Whitner.
  2. Would have been nice to get #2 or #3 off that list, but, at least maybe there is some potential there. Again, the guy we cut, will make anotehr team and may be a starter there. Trade a rookie for an experienced guy. Twice in the second round (levitre for JP, Byrd for whoever gets pushed out). Nice work, Mr. Guy, Mr. Modrak. Don't quit your day jobs. Oops, that is your day job....
  3. Why would they draft a cornerback, to play safety??? What does not make sense here, drafting a guy to play a position he did not play in college and is not familiar with, or NOT drafting a guy who can help shove Kelsay out the door? Ridiculous, you are very foolish if you think they could not have done better in so many ways. You and head coach of Bills both, are Dicks.
  4. it is clear that the CB pick makes one of our NFL calibre guys, corner, youboty, someone, unretainable. That player will end up somewhere else. So we strengthen another team while not really improving our team with this pick. On the other hand we had room for Brown, we can cut a guy that is NOT nfl calibre. Terrible terrible move, terrible terrible draft not for who we picked, but for what could have been. It would really bother me a lot more, though, but it is only football. Dick is a Dick, for sure, but not a real world criminal or scourge like Osama or Dick Cheney.
  5. I can't wait until Dick is out of town. He is such an incredible Dick. I will not watch the bills, until he is gone, or support them, or buy any of their merchandise. This was really, the worst possible situation, we have HIGHER RANKED players in BIGGER NEED POSITIONS on the board, and we take a guy, that will force us to waive an NFL calibre player that is already on our team. Not all the corners can stay now, so who goes to make room for this guy?
  6. Brown would be a good pick, why would we do something like that??? look for a CB here.
  7. remember, we don't have a coach. Unger good because intelligent enough that he will need less coaching, we can't take guys that need teaching. Unger very smart, can figure stuff out for himself,.
  8. That would be too great, it is not possible. More likely McDaniels.
  9. Yeah, the only worse move than the bills moving a franchise LT this offseason, was the Broncos moving a young franchise QB. And hiring an intern to be their HC. Now, 3 for 3 bad moves for them. Shananhan is laughing and making a toast.
  10. I hope he has a low motor, is a terible locker room guy... bhut can actually play a little now and then. We have enough high motor noin-performers.
  11. Yes that Peerless did not pan out was actually a shocker for me, I thought he was sure-fire especially with Vick. Go figure. Hope you are right and JP will be spending his 25mill guaranteed on fried food and cold ones.
  12. Im still not convinced that Derek Fine can't contribute lots more. Now he has had an offseason to work and get healthy, TE is not as big of a priority for me as DE, OT or a decent center.
  13. The fact is Brandon is a horrible exec the Ralph has promotd because of attrition and apathy. He cam to the organization as a glorified intern out of a community college, how can we expect negotiation skills? He could not hone them with the bills, and, he has only been with the bills. He better hope to keep this job because, I don't see other organizations chomping at the bit.
  14. The single best rookie we have had since then, is the one we did not draft, then let go in his prime, Jason Peters. Nice work, Mr. Guy.
  15. Equally boring and tepid in person. No surprise.
