Jettison Reed. He is not a playmaker, although a great blocker. Last year was certainly an eye opener after so many dismally pedestrian campaigns. But still, he is the most expendable, to me.

You don't have to be in the meetings to know that the prep work and game day coaching sucks. You only have to watch the games. Every other team is much better prepped for us than vice versa. Sadly, we are also an easy team to gameplan against.

If they win with DJ, it is purely luck. It will never be savvy coaching, or good play-calling, etc. If we get very lucky, like the Bears in 2001, we can have a decent season. But it will never be because of DJ, always in spite of him.

It is unfair we were sadled with this guy in the first place. Didn't we intervew a winning coach, the guy from Green Bay, also? Mike Sherman? Marv sadly was personal friends with Jauron and therefore, we were stuck with him. As soon as I heard they wre bringing him in, I know it was inevitable we would hire him despite better candidates being avail. That is the story of the Buffalo Bills.

I do have to agree that Peters did not whine at all, in fact he said nothing except that he had an agent and his agent was good, nd he was listening. A fact (that his agent is good) borne out by his current situation, on a good team, with the right money. Of course, he did not mention that the guy on the other side of the negotiating table was BAD at it, intern Brandon, who is so far out of his league when deaing with professional agents it is not even funny.

Marv did a credible job as GM, too. It's just that his one huge mistake Juaron, was/is just SO bad.

The hiring of Jauron essentially means that Marv was responsible for roughly the same amount of losing seasons as TD. Hard to believe, but there it is. Draft wise, TD was not good, Mike Williams et al. But did Marv do better? An over-rated Whitner, a couple of busts, a few diamonds in the rough. Not great though. Maybe it is equal in futility, Marv and TD?

Jauron is making me do the one thing I thought I would never do, dis-respect Marv. Marv may have done some righting of the ship following TD, but the gaffe hiring of Jauron, may have been worse than any of TDs moves, and consigned us to several more losing years. All because they got along well in Chicago, nothing to do with coaching ability.

Given we traded our franchise LT in the off season, Bell's shot seems assured. It is up to him to turn a couple games of opportunity (granted generously by the Bills FO) into a 10+ year career of superior service at LT. Again, DBell, we are with you and want you to succeed wildly. And I for one, think it can happen. And for all the Dick Jauron fans out there, Demetrious by all reports is also a very Nice Man. If he can play which I think he can then, win win!! As opposed to DJ.....

Brandon was completely hamstrung by his own and Ralphs decision to extend Dj after 6 games last season. He retained DJ either by choice or by the proxy of his earier extension. Brandon has a brown nose to say the least, he is intern-boy to this day. "Get me some coffee, and retain DJ, Brandon." "OK, boss, after should i wax your car?"
