It could well be that Hamdan is always the third string guy because the other guys make more money and Dj either does not have the balls or possible the authority to not use the hiogher paid guys. Certainly seems like that is the case with JAckson getting almost no touches since Marshawn came back even though he is clearly the more effective player. Hamdan has not seen the field here and I doubt anyone watched teh NFL europe with him. The fact is he is an unknown qualntity and if the Bills are out of the playoffs we should try him out. He might suck but ANYONE who can make an NFL roster (even the Bills) has some talent and skills and arm strength. Lets roll the dice here, nothing at all to lose.

sorry just watched the DJ press conference and I dont understand why he is still the coach he is so awful. He said Byrd was not injured though and this was a routine trip and drs. appt. Of course that begs the question why did he leave the game early. DJ should be a bus driver, tops. Man is watching his press conferences painful

Plus it would keep TE on the bench where he belongs, balance of 2009. 2010 is a new year and possibly with extended recuperation from the concussion, and a more veteran and together OL, and a new coach, he can show what he can really do. I'm for Hamdan also get some starts. It is not as if this season can be rejuvinated anyway.

Maybe DJ can trade Byrd. He can't be comfortable having an actual good player who is still untainted by the DJs coaching and loser attitude. What if that were to spread to the rest of the guys??? What then??
