    Let's revisit this in 10 years by then we will know for sure if Clausen is good or not. His brother after all had a stellar NFL career after being a 4 year starter at tennessee, so maybe it is another Peyton/Eli situation we have. LOL

    No, the guy that went 1-11 at Notre Dame and is 1 for 3 against a Navy team that previously hadn't beaten the Irish on like 50 years. That's the guy that sucks, the one who doesn't win games for the most vaunted program in college football history. And if it is the coaches fault, Weis, well, ewe have DJ so he won't be able to win here either.

    Denver just found Ty Law . Even if he is not a need position for us, I bet he will contribute starting this week, to them. There are a few older guys out there that have a few games in them. But, I don't think we should do it in any event.

    A solid player = superstar to the 2000 decade Bills Poz is way less of a player than Fletcher, sorry. On other teams he is a back-up/slow ST guy. With a broken arm once a year fom a ST hit.

    How many embarrasing seasons does Weis get before they can him? They fired Willingham a lot sooner and he had many more quality wins and a better record. As for Clausen, we have one perennial loser as a college qb on the roster already (TE); for me Clausen is a pass unless he lasts until round 2 or 3. See ya, Irish!

    I said Shannon sounds like he grew up in Grosse Pointe, which he does. Plenty of white guys grow up on 8 mile that don't sound like Shannon. Plenty of black guys, witness Shannon Sharpe, do. The black white thing was someone else. I just was wondering why they sound so different, maybe they didn't grow up together? You have to admit it is odd.

    The guy has the ability but needs to be coached. Bad luck for him, he is on the Bills. But next year maybe things will change and with a new staff he can reach his athletic potential

You are right though he is not really a brown noser he is just doing the job he paid to do. Sorry Chris. For keeping it up during this horrendous last twelve months of Bills history, you deserve a raise and I really mean that.

    What??? If Byrd and Wood make the best draft in 2009, it was a VERY weak field. If Maybin pans out, a VERY big if, maybe it was top ten or even top 5. Otherwise a pretty pedestrian draft.

Sorry to start threads on this but I am trying to keep my mind off of the Bills to a certain extent and every other thread soon degenerates into a depressing reminder of the state of things

    I'm petty sure at least some players if not several, hear it right here. No matter how they sugar coat it, everyone on the team knows how awful a coach DJ is there is just no escaping it.

    Disagree. There would have to be a 2 million difference in ticket and ancillary sales to make up for DJs firing. I think Brandon can generate the extra 2 mill by installing a new guy and axing DJ. And I think Brandon has RWs ear and can convince him of that.

    Does he know how to sell tickets? If so, that is our criteria so he would be fine.
