  1. I can't go through all 11 pages so this has likely been said.... I think keeping TT is a good plan. Here's why: 1) There is no better option on the free agent market. 2) Trading for a late career vet, like Rivers, is probably too costly for a team that desperately needs draft picks 3) "Tanking" by bringing in a guy like Hoyer doesn't get the Bills any closer to a franchise QB 3a) As I don't know of any Andrew Luck, John Elway, Peyton Manning prospects that will be in the 2018 draft 4) Teams can find their long-term QB while still trying to win by using picks every year to try and identify the guy. Dak is a good example, so is Russell Wilson. It's not easy, but it can happen. Disclaimer: If 3a is not true, then tank away.
  2. Rivers is so much better than Taylor it's not even worth discussing. But if the price to get him (assuming he'd even agree to come here) is as high as I would expect (1st and 2nd??) then I am not sure Bills should pull the trigger. Taylor is probably a good QB to have while we continue to search for the long-term franchise QB. He's not conventionally good, but he's good enough at getting points on the board that the Bills can win some games while we find our Rogers, Brady, etc...
  3. Haha. Yes!!! I'm just kidding with this. Just think it's funny we hired a coach who's defense allowed an EJ Manuel led offense to score a game winning time expiring TD. He's the worst QB of all time ever.
  4. Anytime you can hire a head coach who's unit got beat by EJ Manuel for a game winning drive, you gotta do it. j/k

  6. Hahah Damm Russians and their fake news!
  7. Is Mario Williams still in the NFL? Coulda sworn he was on the Dolphins. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  8. Stats can be pretty dangerous in the wrong hands.
  9. Haha. Wow. I just came on to start a thread to say the same thing. That kid was phenomenal. The tying TD pass was a thing of beauty. No way TT could do that right now......against Penn State.
  10. He may have the easiest marketing job on the planet. Like selling cigarettes before people knew they caused cancer. I'm hoping this season is the tipping point like some of these big tobacco lawsuits were. I for one am ready to quit this health hazardous pastime.
  11. Would be nice to see them be relevant again in my lifetime. Maybe 40 more years, 50-60 if I'm lucky.
  12. That's pretty depressing (in a football sense). So, basically best case scenario we are hoping for a playoff caliber team in 2024. I seriously wonder what the tipping point is for fans. Ticket sales, merch, and ratings have to take a hit soon.
  13. I know you guys are probably right. Is it me or does it just seem to be absolutely foolish to keep things status quo for the most part? I just can't help think that what's going on with the bills is an organizational issue, not tinkering with coaches and players.
  14. I think I'm at the lowest point I've ever been as a Bills fan. And the thought of keeping the majority of the front office and coaching staff makes me want to just quit the team and save myself the time and energy. If I were the Pegulas I would really do my best to start fresh. Signal a new direction and just start over. I think that needs to begin with the Pegulas finding someone they can really trust to be a key consultant or adviser to them. Someone who can help bring in the right people at GM, Coach, scouts, etc... I don't know who that could be. Maybe Polian, Parcells, Coughlin, I don't know. But whomever this person is, they need to create a framework that works across the organization. Meaning every facet of the org is in sync. Doesn't mean there can't and should be disagreements, but by in large they are all working together. There just seems to be none of that at OBD. Different QBs, different defensive schemes, different approaches to the cap, different approaches to free agency, different approaches to drafting and valuing picks, some vague references to analytics. All this just in the last four or five years! What the hell is going on there!?!?
  15. Oh, I have no doubt Whaley isn't going anywhere. It just is mind boggling is all I'm saying. If I'm pegulas, im cleaning house and Whaley is part of that.
  16. I just don't see how there is any other option but to blow up the front office and coaching ranks. You can't just cut the players and there's not much better out there that tyrod. But you can overhaul the management. What the bills have clearly doesn't work. Whaley had to go.
  17. Not that it's a big deal relative to the rest of the team issues, but what the hell happened to schmidt. He's HORRIBLE! It's like he has a tired leg or something. Every punt is short.
  18. Also, I've never seen a guy throw off his front foot more than EJ. It's weird.
  19. Oh my god is EJ so bad
  20. EJ? Really?? Pathetic.
  21. Really hope Cardale plays in 2H
