it's funny in the nfl what comes first? the coach or the QB?
-
Maye is on the trajectory to get to the HOF.
-
It won't be Maye tho. It'll be the offense as a whole
-
who the hell is he going to throw the ball to? Diggs? Diggs vs. Thompson/Johnson will be fun to watch.

James Cook AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September 2025)!

what other details would be coming? he's OPM. -
which is entirely fair. if you've got your floor of what you'd like to earn than why bother doing anything if it is not worth it to you? practicing on the practice squad is just the same tax on your body as being on the full roster. why do more to your body if you've invested and saved enough money? i don't blame him but also wish he would accept league minimum to get on our practice squad.
-
I'd hestitate on Stroud because he has shown better flashes and a grasp of the game in the past. Jones and Nix are fair. Tua can't be judged fairly. I think he's been destroyed in all ways possible and just hope he can leave football and live a good life.

100% agree. on paper it is one perspective. in reality on the field it is another. i could see this game being close but i do not expect the bills to be out of control at any time even if they don't have good footing or struggle. i think they are a few weeks away from a complete game. i anticipate our get right and balance it out game to be MNF against atlanta. i think atlanta is gonna come out and pop us in the mouth and we decide to open a can of whoop ass.

my point wasn't if he is or isn't better than Macorkle. it was that in Mac's career growth he was the next coming of a tier 1 franchise QB. Maye is on the cusp of this lip - to prove it or not. i think he has a higher ceiling than Mac but isn't to Mac's ceiling yet. Mac had a few very good games. Maye is going out and slinging it all around as they have no choice but to run it with bad RB's and offense where he has to try to do it all.
-
every page on this thread Maye gets better. He's the second coming of Mac Jones!!!! a few pages ago he was good. then he was really good. now he is very good. on page 25 he's gonna be great! page 30 is gonna be excellent. by 40 he will be all time all pro he's a serviceable qb at this point. a mid tier starter. that's nothing special.

why is justin simmons still available? i don't get it. at least put him on a PS somewhere.

so... the guy who won 2 MVP's and by all accounts considered one of the best QB's and football players in the game today is a victim? you argue i don't know what ryan meant or his mom thinks. the flip of the argument is true, too. look, i give up. we're not going to agree. i am sorry you bend the knee so quickly. NFL teams did not draft Tom Brady earlier because he was white. ....this is literally the kind of stupidity being made in these types of arguments. completely arbitrary.
-
i certainly understand what you're saying but I am looking at it through a lens that with this PAtriots team it's the window of his ceiling.
-
Shane Falco is superior to Jackson. I cannot trust anyone who doesn't think that. Even Johnny Mox Moxon was better than Jackson, and he should have definitely changedp ositions. google Shane Falco. your entire argument is as ridiculous as you just blindly saying Shane Falco should have changed positions. Same with Ryan Leaf. Leaf didn't have the temperament but he was a damn good college qb and all of the tools you're trying to argue about Briscoe when it's been 60 years+ it is worse than Fluite/Johnson my god... you're ... just hilarious.
-
Lol ok boomer. I just gave you examples of qbs who had harsh criticism coming out. Tebow especially. He was so black.
-
Ryan leaf? Tim Tebow? Shane Falco?
-
I was speaking overall in the next 3-4 years.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I went outside after work and the whole neighborhood was in their smoking jackets smoking while getting ready for the klan meeting and bopping out to the latest Oak Ridge Boys tune.

Vrabels ceiling is a 10 win team. Maybe 11-12 if the football gods give him a good schedule and he doesn't get his guys injured. 11-12 wins are not going to win the division unless somehow they beat the Bills twice.

Sir this is a Wendy's. And it's 2025.

Yes, I've done it several times. Pulling a muscle is generally a serious as most people think. My wife has a severe tear in her hamstring from trying to heal hook while climbing. That was debilitating and still an issue for her. Lamar is not that injured, he has a tweaked hamstring. I've had everything from muscle adhesions which are the devil, to pull strains and tears. I have had a pectoral tear off my sternum and that didn't shut me down. I've competed pretty highly in athletics and can only go if my experience from others and myself. You speak so firmly that no NFL player is playing with the pulled hamstring and that's just too much to say
-
Hurt ain't injured. Hurt is what everyone gets who plays. Injured means you ain't moving. Soft ass boys get hurt and stop playing. The definition of a pulled hamstring isn't what most people think. There are several degrees of it. Even if he doesn't play I think it's all bull#### the team and Lamar being weak. Remember his contract year and before he say out being soft? Dude is charmin.

i'm not picking them but i think Jacksonville makes a statement this weekend.
