11/5/23 Week #9 SNF GAMEDAY Bills @ Bengals Pregame Thread

The pressure is far more upon Cinci. They will be last place by 3+ games to Baltimore if they lose. They're not the worst team in that division, however. -

I am so in on that if they are pounding Miami tonight. I think I like those odds. No way Miami wins tonight. -

I've been saying this all day. And some of the more level headed talking heads have been saying Buffalo isn't going to be pushed over and some even say they'll win. -

It's embarrassing. "who dey?" Ohioans don't have an accent or lack of ability to properly use the English language like the New Orleans crowd or other regions where dialects degrade the speech of ita inhabitants. "who dey" is a contrived derivative of urban slang and what is and has been destroying Cincinnati to make it one of Ohio's most dangerous and most concerning cities. The Cinci region from Middletown to across the border is plagued with issues that are shared with the entire Ohio river valley. It is contrived and lazy tool for a franchise who has never been relevant due to poor management, ownership, and a suffering fanbase that can't even blame the rustbelt issues that Detroit, Cleveland, and Buffalo face. -

I thought it was interesting and more of a test drive for the future of the season. I had mentioned it a few times and it was interesting that we didn't notice the difference on the field compared to George Wilson doing it a decade ago. 43 is the mike will forever haunt me. It's somewhat wicked because it could take all the life that is left from poyer to play that close to the ball in the box. Having Rapp as the deep safety surprised me. I think he's experienced enough that each week doing this he will feel and fit better. The harmony between Milano-White-Johnson-Hyde-Poyer was always something incredible. I'm hoping new GB guy can fill the role with experience and we can get back to a symbiotic level of play, as Bernard has fit in well with them. To the individual characterists I had noticed Poyer actually playing like a WLB the last few years coming in hard. It was always reason I liked him at strong safety because he was also so damn good on the strong side when we had our pass rush ***** up. It beats him up. However...The first 3 games he was playing a more pure safety position. Many had noticed he wasn't playing as well in their opinion.

There is only one game in the last 5 years I remember a team taking thekr choice of the field

Benford is playing very well and consistent. Dane Jackson isnt getting respect. Taron Johnson has been covering a lot of big guys, TE's primarily. Tomorrow he will be facing a stout challenge. Without Milano to help in the secondary we have seen Johnson have a tougher go.

I'm gonna go to the eagles board and draw up support for the Vikings. Fact. Jon kitna had better starts for the Bengals 🤣🤣🤣

Cincinnati is disgusting. Why are you back? We can start a GoFundMe, that way you can have worthwhile hobbies. Someone is paying attention

I have been keeping tabs on this and surprised so many here hate the Bengals. I don't. They'll be irrelevant in 2 years when they can't afford and won't pay anyone. They're just a pimple, they won't be around forever. However, the city of Cincinnati is loathed. They're so freaking trashy there. They have one entity which props up the entire city, Proctor and Gamble and then they have the mafia to help inflate everything (the IRS). They don't have much pride, always wishing they were as cool as even Cleveland or crying about the shadow of the Cbus. Hell, Cincinnati is just Lorain with more people. Anyone I have met from Cinci might as well be a hillbilly from Kentucky. They have more in common with those folks than what is truly the heart of America.

Not going to preface this question to create any position or bias. Feel free to insert your own opinion on why you feel the way you do.

Id have liked to add Suh being that Phillips isn't the same as last year so far. He's got too much on his plate, for one. It's be interesting if they called Kirksey, also. At least to the PS. Those are the two pieces I wanted added. Gives us an angry, mean Suh and someone to have with Klein as a leadership and a floor at the LB positions

@Royale with Cheese Has brought his son up to several games from out of towns and might have some good info. -
You forgot one thing. You enjoy disagreeing and having reasonable discussions on the difference of the opinions.

I have no constructive hobbies and get bored with menial tasks so this gives me an opportunity to fulfill that missing piece of my life with people who love and care about me.

Let me preface this by saying no one is perfect, we are all on the spectrum, and we are ***** up. This dude reminds me of the kid on SNL for a while who looks derpy and tries to be funny and his dad died in 9/11. I forget his name. He never seems to not try. Everything is forced like he has a stick up his ass. It is like someone told a person on the softer side of the spectrum who has an OCD neurosis his character is a "non-chalant, charismatic coach who is always upbeat and good vibes" and we got this dude.

Going to Germany is just fine. You stay up that day when you arrive after a brief nap on the plan. They'll likely sleep 3-4 hours on the plane.

Mike McDaniel isn't cool. He tries to emulate what cool is. He seems like a dweeb on the spectrum trying to pull off a definition of cool he pulled from someone. He talks too much.
