McDermott didn't win with the teams he was given and now we got backed into a corner trying to run it back with scrapyard components. There could be the top safety prospect still on the board by the time we draft with WR being deep. If we go WR id love to go all in on MHJ and have Josh and him for eternity. If we can shore up WR, and I don't see Davis getting over $9mm/yr x 3... So I'd put an offer of out as a veteran #4, depth outside guy.

i think Hyde could come back. i also wish the organization would tell him flat out he is welcome back as an assistant coach. in the need of injuries, etc. change his position to practice squad, and boom we have a backup safety. do the same with Klein.

he would be a fun mix to our defense and jekyl vs hyde that would become the McD way vs. Fangio way. it'd be an amazing spectacle. McDermott plays instinctive strategic defense. Fangio finds mismatches and puts plays in with their ears pinned back to attack the problems. i can't imagine many fin defenders are happy with this. as a fan, i can't imagine many are either unless they're disillusioned. though, i imagine their weakass fanbase is celebrating this because they don't understand a good defense.

a lot depends on the Miller situation. If all things are equal he will be suspended. But that we haven't heard a peep about this makes me think it's a non-story and been swept under already. For Zeke he was in Dallas so it was always brought up. If we can get out of the Miller situation by suspension than we can bring back Floyd and AJE.

a great example of how different things are different is Sean McVay. Pre McVay the team had a lot of talent - just like McDermott's Bills. In 2016 they were 4-12. The previous 10 seasons never winning more than 10 games. so... our defense declined. we are old, we got tired, we got hurt. their defense improved. they are young, they got experienced, they got better.

Today was my day to buy and we gorged ourselves of doughnuts and muffins. It's almost always junk food but I usually bring vege and fruit trays.lol

This organizations and fan base obsession with WR screens is annoying. no more passes at the LOS to WRs. WR's go down the field and catch the balls. they're used to create scheme exploitations, probe weaknesses in coverage, and create a vertical threat. TE's and RB's can be used for these screens - they're cheaper, dime-a-dozen, and much better suited to take this punishment. Spend the money for WR's on thoroughbreds who go downfield. Let Knox cross the middle or take an easy out pattern, let James Cook take the screens and get pummeled, find a true pass catching RB to run these wheel route screens.

Romo, Allen, Burrow, McNair, and Cunningham were not great QB's. Rivers was not great, either, but threw a ton.
