you're forgetting that through much of the mid 10's New Orleans had a quality pass defense, carolina had one of the best defenses of the decade. during that time in the afc east the we had the patriots - who by the mid 10's was more offense and overall talent than it was defense.

when you live in the right city you can do this easily. lviing in/near greensboro for the acc tourney i never took advantage of it - at least yet - but you can get acc tourney tickets for less than $30 even when it was like top of the era duke/unc

the condensed formations we ran seemed related to our tendencies and history trying to force 20 personnel. i think we stuck to known formations instead of trying to rewrite the playbook. we used the same formations with new wrinkles. going forward i think brady needs to see what he has on paper. not concern running every play or every first down. get creative and look at putting the passing schemes that suit his players and create the mismatches that his qb can thrive on.

this is true. and by reading about it many do not like it because of the exposure of their own flaws and failures. teenagers prefer team sports vs individual sports, especially the demanding ones. wrestling is not a social sport like track and field or cross country. you can't socialize and linger like you can during training in wresling. it isn't for the faint of heart or someone who is not willing to invest time on and off the mat. to be moderately successful requires discipline in training, diet, and more. that kind of commitment to a hormonal teenager is difficult. i can only imagine what its like for todays generation of candy ass kids.

if you never wrestled you will never appreciate this movie.

i will never understand why wrestling is not more popular in this country. it was some of the best experiences of my life and some of the hardest accomplishments i've ever done. from training in biddy programs as kid to training at univ of iowa as a teenager - learned A LOT.
