  1. Great idea until someone verbally abuses their team just a little too much without physical threat, then gets arrested for disorderly.... Physical violence must be curbed and peeps must PAY but be careful what you wish for.
  2. I'll be Capt Obvious.........Some more EXECUTION and a "slow" hurry up would have won that game.
  3. Looked like Goodwin may have saluted the Marine and that the Marine was encouraging him post-play........... Unless it wasn't a home game for Goodwin
  4. Ask Pittsburgh how KW performed, that's just one example....... Dude's a player.
  5. Kevin was number one, obviously, but Jerry Butler's career-ender hurt, wonder how we would have done with him for the next 10 years...........
  6. Cheerleader outfits.........not so bad with visual aids
  7. Could the team be worried about Spiller's next contract, I'm 100% for keeping Byrd, but if they were forced to choose between the two? If they pay Byrd now, will it affect they're ability to pay Spiller, I think he's coming up in not too long.........? Tough problem for all............
  8. If I were the Niners, I wouldn't worry so much about the hat, the pants 2/3 of the way down the azz on the other hand......... Nice undies.
  9. Going off-duty from Gold Cross ambulance and was filling up at a gas station in 1990, met Jim Kelly and Kent Hull, also fueling up.
  10. Bruce Smith may have been a "me first" kind of guy, BUT, having said he was the best and should be paid like the best, HE BACKED IT UP AND EARNED EVERY PENNY ON SUNDAYS. Bruce Smith didn't quit mid-contract, he continued to perform and subsequently was paid. Jason Peters stopped working, allowing his body and attunement with the offense to deteriorate, thus reducing his value to the team. The team watched substandard performances for half a season, (he couldn't even crack the line up in the early season if I recall) culminating in a game-ending play against the Jets where he wiffed on a defensive back that he should have destroyed allowing a sack/fumble/6 on his QB turning a win into a loss. Having not self-evaluated his play for 2008 and recognizing a problem, he again held out, compounding his deterioration for the 2009 season upcoming. Buffalo saw 2008 again and fortunately traded him while the iron was still hot from outstanding performances in 2006-07. Buffalo reaped decent picks from a dead weight who made the choice not to continue bettering himself and maintaining his value. If any of us quit performing at our jobs instead of proving our value to the organization (even though we may be underpaid) guess what would happen? It's the same in the NFL for the most part and most times players ARE rewarded for becoming outstanding unlike real life, unfortunately. Jason Peters made the choice to quit, the Bills, having intimate knowledge of the guy and the situation, made the right call. Firemedic
  11. He was unstoppable that first year he started if I remember correctly, then he quit wanting to play and became average, then insulted the town/team that gave him a shot.......
  12. Didn't hear any ref bashing but pretty spot on.........
  13. Mario OFF the field on passing downs? Am I missing something??
  14. Freddy was 40% of one of the highest producing offenses in the NFL and was leading in yards from scrimmage before he got hurt two years ago.............but I guess he isn't any good : /
  15. Kelly was perfect in every sense throwing the ball.......his throwing motion was large and circular from what I've seen, but all throws were dead-on. The large motion slowed his release, but obviously not enough to matter
  16. If anything like his father, the Jedi of special teams, I'd definitely want him.
