  1. Gave up next years 3rd and 6th. Traded down a couple times for extra ammo to move back up. Overall like the draft. Dotson is immediately a playmaker on O, immediate replacement for Poyer, replacement for Edmunds, likely a 2nd CB opposite White with Emerson, but if he doesn’t work out then you have a chance with Kendrick who is a bit of a wild card, but his talent is there. Potential future starter at RB, swing tackle, 2nd TE, a work in progress at G, and a swing for the fences WR 36. Jahan Dotson WR Penn State 57. Jalen Pitre S Baylor 73. Chad Muma LB Wyoming 81. Martin Emerson CB Mississippi State 91. Daniel Faalele OT Minnesota 130. Jerome Ford RB Cincinnati 133. Jelani Woods TE Virginia 168. Thayer Munford OG Ohio State 185. Amare Barno EDGE Virginia Tech 203. Darion Kendrick CB Georgia 231. Velus Jones Jr. WR Tennessee
  2. I don’t want him anywhere near this team. Unless you get him in round 5 or after. And that’s not happening.
  3. Please god no. If he’s drafted in any round before the 4th I’ll $#?T a chicken.
  4. Whatever. Believe what you want. I am firmly in the camp that he will not be a Bill after this season at the very least. I believe they may be trying to shop him because they’d rather get something than nothing by letting him walk via FA at the end of the year. I also believe he’s pretty much garbage and always someone that you can look at, as making bad plays, bad angles, tackling 5 yards downfield because of poor decisions, out of position, and unable to grasp what a MLB is actually supposed to do. That’s my opinion. the only reason I see them keeping him is because they are all hands on deck this year and wouldn’t want to replace a major piece of the defense in a SuperBowl year. Which I will concede may be beneficial, but I also have such little faith in him as a playmaker that it probably hurts is more than if we were to draft someone like Lloyd. Im done arguing with you. It’s obvious neither of us is going to change each other’s minds on this. So have a good day.
  5. Ended up giving up a 3rd and 5th next year for this draft. I’m not sure it could get any better honestly. Imo. ended up with a stud at WR and our future slot guy for years to come. Starting MLB either right away or after this season when Edmunds leaves. Gordon should be an instant starter opposite White. Faalele instantly becomes our swing tackle and maybe more in the future. Smith should be starting OG by next year. Woods immediately becomes our 3rd TE and when we lose Knox because we can’t afford him, or OJ next year he steps in and takes over. Punter for the next 15 years. And between Woolen and Kendrick you have potential at DB that makes DCs drool about the possibilities. If they work out, we are set at Corner for the next 5 years. 43. Jahan Dotson, WR Penn State 57. Kyler Gordon, CB Washington 58. Chad Muma, LB Wyoming 78. Tariq Woolen, CB UTSA 89. Daniel Faalele, OT Minnesota 99. Lecitus Smith, OG Virginia Tech 168. 6. If he does a ton more than fans know, how do you know he does it? Did someone tell you he does it? I’ve gone over this ad nauseam. No coach or teammate will ever say anything bad about a player like ever. They will always support them no matter what. Even ones that we know are terrible. we’ve continued to clear up money and not resign him despite being in his final year of a 5th year deal. I think the writing is on the wall, he’s not worth the 12+ or likely 15+ million that he will almost certainly command after being a 2 time pro bowler. the facts are he’s in on just about every single play because of his freakish physical attributes, but he’s constantly out of position, outmuscled by OLmen, constantly taking wrong angles. fyi, the mass majority of defenses were called by LBs last year but there was a few defenses that were run by S. It’s actually the only other position that’s on the list of being the green dot wearer. Just wanted to point it out that there were Safeties in the nfl that did it and it’s not as ridiculous as you may think. Chargers S Derwin James, LB Kyzir White Patriots S Devin McCourty, LB Kyle Van Noy Rams S Jordan Fuller, LB Ernest Jones, LB Troy Reeder, S Eric Weddle Ravens S Chuck Clark, S Geno Stone
  7. For every one or two players that you find, there’s thousands of ones that don’t work out. Just saying
  8. I believe his teammates absolutely value him. So does this coaching staff and front office. But the facts are he hurts your defense with his inability to react correctly very often. His size and athleticism allows him to be a part of every single play because he’s a freak. But at the end of the day I don’t trust him to make correct decisions on the field in game. and every player would say how good he is and how much is lost by trading him. But every player always has good things to say about their teammates. Until the next guy comes along and is better. I vote for Poyer or Hyde to run the defense while a young rookie learns.
  9. A bunch of trade downs. Ended up missing Dotson with the first pick, as he was taken one spot ahead of me. Was kind of upset about that and it burned my whole thought process. But overall I really liked it. Ended up giving next years 3rd and 7th for this but wasn’t too bad I thought. i know many will say there’s no way we’re keeping 14 players in the roster. But 6 were picked in the top 100 alone. After that, Woods would instantly be our #3 TE, so goodbye Sweeney after camp and pre season. Araiza would instantly start over Haack so goodbye to him as well. Moss would likely be gone with White and Price both drafted. Price going to PS for the season and taking over for Johnson next year. McCollum would fight for a spot and could easily supplant someone for the 5-6th DB spot because of his upside. Phillips could be an upgrade to the slot position within a year and could keep him over someone like Kumerow who has constantly not made the team and always ends up on the PS. Barno, Rose, and Jones all fight for their lives to get PS looks and get ready for next year. Overall, missing Dotson by 1 pick really screwed this up. But overall I’m happy 48. Jalen Pitre, S Baylor 54. Kyler Gordon, CB Washington 60. George Pickens, WR Georgia 85. Rachaad White, RB Arizona State 89. Lecitus Smith, OG Virginia Tech 91. Cole Strange, OG Chattanooga 127. Jelani Woods, TE Virginia 130. Zyon McCollum, CB Sam Houston State 160. Matt Araiza, P San Diego State 185. Kyle Philips, WR UCLA 195. Amare Barno, EDGE Virginia Tech 203. 10. Could very well mean that we did like Ettiene and only him in the draft. They clearly had grades on both Groot and Boogie. So that to me says they definitely wanted a DE and had favorable grades on them each. But maybe Ettiene was taken right ahead of us and they had to take their next BPA at the time. Couldn’t pass him up. again, there’s no way to know about any of this. Just a bunch of couch gms thinking they know why the Bills were thinking at the time.
  11. I never stated they had interest in Ettiene FYI. I only stated that was gone when we picked. So the original argument doesn’t exactly prove that they didn’t actually have interest in him. There’s no way to prove it for either of us. The only true fact that is there, is that he was already gone when we picked so you cannot confirm there was actually no interest.
  12. Freak athletes go early. Guys with limited experience don’t fwiw I really like Walker. But in the 3rd round or later. There’s zero evidence for like 98% of guys that weren’t drafted on any draft boards of teams. They don’t leak that info. Like ever.
  13. This statement is exactly why he will not be a round 1 pick. Sure, the talent is there. You’ve pointed many times at the RAS score. But at the end of the day he’s a work in progress. It might pay off for someone but not us in the first round. If he’s there in rd 3 I could get behind it. Keep Edmunds for the year and hopefully Anderson has gotten a full grip of things for the future.
  14. Teams make these docos every single year and the pick they made is always the pick. They are always saying things like “we can’t believe he was still there” “he was the guy we wanted all along”. This is all nothing new. They aren’t going to give any insight to anyone out there that they were thinking anything different. Other teams watch these things and spend a lot of time looking for insight of how certain teams/gms view their boards for future drafts.
  15. He’s been available in a bunch of mocks lately for me as well. With the movement of Miami’s picks, the Seahawks picks, and the recent ones of New Orleans. Pretty sure it has shaken up the expectations of many mocks because nobody knows what’s going to happen. I foresee more trades and moves leading up to the draft and in draft day than maybe ever before. This off-season has been insane and I don’t expect things to get any less crazy. He was already gone. Just saying.
  16. I think if Lloyd was there we take him at 25. But if not I think Beavers could be our pick in the 3rd Rd. They’ve met with him I believe. He’s a monster. I like him a lot
  17. Not a chance Walker or Anderson go that high. Next beers on me if I’m wrong
  18. Only problems is….. Edmunds isn’t as good as people think he is. It’s his last season with us and he will likely get a contract worth more than $15/y and he’s just not worth that much. You trade him while you can and get something for him to soften the blow. Easy answer, you resign Poyer and Hyde to add a few years on each contract with the money you save from Edmunds. You have one of them call the defense since they are incredibly smart and have an overview of the entire field from the S position, until your rookie LB catches on.
  19. Cell phones being pick pocketed is not the nfls problem when was the last time you were at a Bills game? Because last year I saw significantly less scalpers roaming the lots trying to buy and sell tickets. Usually they are falling over one another. This year I can’t remember many at all.
  20. I don’t believe Anderson goes in Rd2 like many are saying. I think rd3 at the highest. Level of opponents will have a play in it imo. Montana state isn’t exactly on par with the LSUs of the college football world. i am not sure if Barnes will last that long. Good chance that because of his 40 time he goes earlier than expected. But is his 40 time is the only real reason he would go much higher than expected? If GMs and scouts think he’s more of a work in progress than worth their time, he may slide. Speed doesn’t mean everything. I like the tape on Melton. He likely doesn’t last that long, I agree. But not sure how much earlier. He could be one of the unfortunate players that get passed up by other WRs that blew people’s doors off in the 40. Even though he may be better.
  21. A bunch of trade downs. Extra picks. Trade ups to get back into earlier rounds. ended up picking up an extra 2nd rounder next year as well. Love this draft. 45. Breece Hall, RB Iowa State 57. Jahan Dotson, WR Penn State 76. Jalyn Armour-Davis, CB Alabama 89. Daniel Faalele, OT Minnesota 100. Troy Andersen, LB Montana State 168. Thayer Munford, OG Ohio State 185. Amare Barno, EDGE Virginia Tech 203. Kalon Barnes, CB Baylor 231. Bo Melton, WR Rutgers 2023 BAL 2nd
  22. Paper tickets have been removed by the entire NFL league wide. As of 2020. When a friend of mine and I upgraded seats in the clubs in 2019, our rep informed us that 2019 was the last year of paper tickets. The league wants everyone using electronic devises to enter. It cuts down on scalpers and fake tickets. It also gives the NFL better opportunities to maximize the secondary market. Also adding fees in all secondary transactions. we even asked about older people that don’t have smart phones or weren’t capable of figuring out the process and they basically said there was no plan in place for that. to my knowledge, you can now show up to the stadium at the will call window And request paper tickets for a $5 fee/ticket. But I think you will see them completely plain, paper tickets without any images or anything on them. Just game and seat information. I used to collect all my stubs as well. Been a season ticket holder since 2006 and I enjoyed keeping them all. But those days are gone. im hoping for the least year, or last few years of the stadium being open, they do something special.
  23. Latest one. Post Diggs resigning, I’m assuming they will pick up a vet corner somewhere but even if they don’t I’ve got answers for that here. Because I had no belief that we would even be in the game for someone like Hamilton, I never really looked into him. But now that Diggs is signed to a crap ton of moolah, and Poyer is on his final year of his contract. I think we may be looking to trade up for some elite talent. Maybe it’s not Poyers replacement, but maybe it is. Maybe they just think they can go with a 3S type of defense. Hamilton is a specimen and can play multiple roles because of his size, speed, length, etc. so maybe we see a real change in defensive schemes in the coming year(s) because of big physical TEs, and fast WRs. Just a thought. I love this draft. Had to give up 25, and next years 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to move up to 9. But I don’t regret it at all. 9. Kyle Hamilton, S Notre Dame 57. Christian Watson, WR North Dakota State 89. James Cook, RB Georgia 138. Cameron Jurgens, OC Nebraska 168. Marcus Jones, CB Houston 185. Kyle Philips, WR UCLA 203. Justin Shaffer, OG Georgia 208. Josh Jobe, CB Alabama 225. Jordan Stout, P Penn State
  24. Yeah I agree for the most part. But I do believe Williams is possibly the best WR in the draft and gives this offense the chance to be truly explosive for years if he works out. I like him more than any WR, my next favorite is Olave and unfortunately for me, he was available at 25. I think they are very close in terms of what we are really missing in this offense. After that I’m a huge fan of Dotson. But would much more like a trade back for some extra picks, or a move back up into the early 2nd to snag him. It just seems like every single mock I run, I try and find Dotson and way to get him between 25-40ish. So I wanted to try something different.
  25. He just hasn’t gotten a fair shake. Ariens is proving to be a head case. AB was likely a case of a QB and HC don’t get along at all. Which is why Brady retired only to come back when he he had knowledge that tue Bucs organization was going to push Ariens out of the HC position.
