I am hoping that Allen shows enough during the Bengals game to merit being the starter. But was also thinking that how fun it would be to keep this thread alive :p Nothing better than having die hard supporters come out with dissertations on why we should root for mediocre QBs. Brings back memories of the days there were lots of back and forth on the merits of illustrious alunmni or camp fodder like JP, EJ, VY, TJ, etc.

This is awesome. Can some of the medical folks here chime in on this golden nugget of wisdom?

I did read here that Peterman has a phenomenal 85% percent completion rate in preseason and that his velocity is much improved.. Maybe the coaches are waiting for the regular season to unleash his sideline throw package?

What about Peterman? Considering how a vocal segment of population has him as best QB so far for Bills , there must be an analysis on his awesome ball placement .

Aren't you still saying that EJ is a good QB? I hear he is doing great in Oakland. The Raiders brain trust is not worried about Carr's replacement if he goes down.

I'm curious . If an admin were to lookup your ip address, would it match the one for BullBuchanan? I believe another poster has noticed the odd similarity in the extreme position in regard to Peterman as well as the handles.

That is a fair position on the Kolb plan . EJ himself hasn't shown any improvement after moving on from Marrone and co. At this point, I think he is 3rd string on the Raiders behind Connor Cook?

So if EJ has been developed by say a Bill Walsh , he would have been the next Joe Montana and Steve Young ?

Not sure many people beyond this team board talk about Peterman's potential.

I think Derek Carr has regressed to the mean. I wouldn't be surprised it Raiders end up at bottom of Division as others have predicted.

You are equating Peterman's ceiling to Brady, Bulger , Tony Romo...? Seems far fetched.

How do you know it will be Allen who will lead the Bills to promised land? There is a 50 page thread on another QB who apparently has upped his velocity such that he may now be something special.
