  1. I think we are on the same page overall in what goes into throwing the football. The point I was trying to make is that on the margin, weight room work won't make that much of a difference since very few QBs have perfect mechanics. Improving the mechanics will have more impact someone like Peterman compared to having him lift more weights whether it is for his lower body , torso, or arms. Optimum timing of when each muscle/ body part is activated when throwing is a lot more key then having bigger muscles. Is there an QB in the NFL that substantially upped his game to another level because he spent many many hours bulking up in the weight room? Unless some high prospect had the muscle tone of Urkel, I don't think many NFL QBs have a need to go beyond regular conditioning regimens?
  2. Haven't the Packers won in Buffalo in recent times.
  3. Please do enlighten us then. This should be entertaining
  4. I 'm sure Nate can easily make his biceps, triceps, delts, etc bigger by spending time in the weight room. But what does that have to do with how much zip he has in his throws? That's a mechanics problem . Why do non physical specimens like Ryan Mallet or Jay Cutler have canon arms, while a gym rat like Brady Quinn have pop guns? Its not because of time in the weight room...
  5. Amazing that only 11% believe Peterman will win the starting role after that epic thread.
  6. I find the unwavering support for a 5th round pick who showed almost nothing in regular season bizarre. EJ at least had a few decent games to start before he received undying love from BF4E. You aren't related to BF4E are you?
  7. Usually when folks guarantee something like this in sports, it more likely than not doesn't come to pass
  8. I wonder if there are some Vegas propositions on which player will be the Bills starting QB . Also, I wonder if W-L predictions can swing depending on that player.
  9. Do you need to peel all the layers of a rotten onion to conclude its rotten ? The Bills kept EJ on roster for 4 seasons and gave him more than enough of a chance. I would think that even the most diehard EJ supporter must have given up after he got pulled in favor of Cardale during that Jets game in 2016 season?
  10. Yes. He had a 100% completion percentage when throwing to members of opposing team ;-)
  11. EJ certainly has some undying loyalty still over here
  12. If the Bills were to offer up both Shaq and Peterman on the market , what would they get? For Shaq, probably a mid-round pick at least? For Peterman, maybe a box of half eaten chocolates?
  13. Joe Flacco shouldn’t scare anyone at this point
  14. Ill propose something much simpler in J.R. Smiths case. He is just plain stupid. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2018/06/jr-smith-7-biggest-blunders-dumb-moments-nba-finals
  15. Yes. Lebron only scored 51 against the Warriors. Time for him to consider retirement ;-)
  16. EJ's stats in Oakland: 2 games 24/43 = 55% completion percentage. 265 yards (132.5 yards/game) . 6.2 Y/A. 1 TD 1 INT. 72.3 QB rating. A continuation of the mediocrity he showed in Buff. Not sure how one can conclude he is a fine backup?
  17. Rodgers never learned anything from Favre though....
  18. Do elite LTs really help teams? Don't we find that teams that go far in playoffs often have just serviceable LT players ? Joe Thomas certainly didnt do anything for poor Cleveland. Philly didn't accomplish much those years when Peters was starting all the games. and ended up winning the Superbowl with him out of the lineup since October 2017.
  19. Why would Dez even want to come here considering the current QB situation? Would take some desperation on his part.
  20. There is a reason why school and employment applications ask "have you been convicted of a crime" rather than "have you been accused of a crime".
