It's dead until it happens. How many times do you hear a deal is off only to take place later. Mcnabb was supposed to be staying put. Everyone was sure Marshawn was gone after the draft. It was a no brainer according to the pundits. Just be patient and be happy Nix isn't makin a foolish trade.
Hey I am all for a guy embracing the town he plays for. It just doesn't mean anything if he is garbage on the field. Moorman is the best of both worlds correct? Seems to like Buffalo and the fans while being a great player on the field.
As for guys ripping someone like Trent for saying the Bills weren't his favorite team that is ridiculous. If I remember correctly Corto is from Buffalo - do you think he will say Buffalo wasn't his favorite team growing up if he signs a contract with some other team.
Exactly what does embracing Buffalo count for? Seriously I hate people who say crap like that. I'm fairly certain Bruce Smith never spent one extra day in Buffalo than he had to and we cheered him all the way to the HOF. Who gives a F if the player likes the city or thinks its a shathole if he can play and win?
The funniest or saddest thing about Reed is he was a former RB and all the talking heads would talk about his run after catch ability. I can't recall even one broken tackle run after the catch play in his entire career.
I have never lived in Rochester and only read the sports columns linked by TBD. Did they seriously just write the Bills wanted to move up to get Brees now? There were only about 20 other articles written before the SB on the same topic. Do they really think this is worthy of a column now - it was barely newsworthy the week before the SB? Their writers are horrible. Bob Matthews makes Clip Smith look like a Rhodes Scholar. I think the links are backwards. The D and C should just fire their writers and provide links to the discussions at TBD.

Mike Williams calling out Albert Haynesworth to be a leader. A little too late for Bills fans but good for him...
Last year everyone thought Trent was going to have a breakout year with TO taking double coverage away from Lee Evans. The offensive line is worse on paper now than it was at this time last year. The WR corp is worse or at least unproven. They switched to a 3-4 without the personnel to do so and now rely on a rookie to play NT. 28 may be generous as outside of Cleveland and St. Louis I don't see any worse teams.
If you belive that I have an island in the Niagara river I would like to sell you. They all say that and sign only when the dollars match the position in which they are drafted.
