we have the perfect backup now, his name is EJ.....now go get a Franchise QB with 5 all pro lineman.....RB's & WR's are dime a dozen. other than QB, stop investing in guys who weigh under 290.

when are people gonna learn the key to a great offense is 4 pro bowlers on the offensive line. Will Wilford, Jim Ritcher, Kent Hull, John Davis, House Ballard = 4 trips to the Super Bowl things get easier when you have 10 seconds to throw or holes you can run a truck through.

biggest needs in order of impact: #1- FRANCHISE QB ( EJ is not that guy) #2- RT (move pears to LG) #3- DT ( move Dareus to DE) #4- TE (weakest unit on team) #5- OLB ( moats and bradham stink)

PRO: Spiller is the least of our problems. he is under team control for 2 more seasons at $4 mil /yr. he is worth every penny. CON: gets winded too often, goes down easily on first contact, lacks intelligence to block and read pass protection which limits using him on 3rd downs. RUMOR: is a closet cigarette smoker

i would also argue that i'd rather pay Levitre $7.8 mil/year than pay Byrd $8-9 mil/yr. besides Levitre only had $13 mil guaranteed, which makes it a defacto 2 or 3 yr deal.

in terms of importance, QB is worth 50% of the success or failure of your offense. the other 10 players are worth 5% each. EJ is NOT the only problem on offense. you could bring in a pro bowl left guard and pro bowl tight end and EJ is still the same mediocre QB he is. dennis shaw's rookie record is near meaningless. until you have a superstar franchise QB you are wasting your time. i like EJ, but he will NEVER be a franchise QB. he will be lucky to crack the Top 20.

if Peyton Manning was the QB of this team, we would be 9-5.....not 5-9. EJ MANUEL is ranked #28th in BOTH passer rating and total QBR. thats not good enough.

thanks for doing this, lately talking about the draft is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being a bills fan. having said that, if the draft fell the way you have it, then the ROT Matthews would be my pick.

kind of quiet on the stevie front....

#1- who cares what sully says or doesn't say. he's paid to stir things up. apparently he's good at it. #2- Stevie Johnsons contract says he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. too much "dead money". it's time to move him to the inside slot WR position.

just recieved a post card from the bills. only $25 down per seat will lock down my seat location in the newly renovated RWS. amongst other benefits, i get a limited edition tee shirt (1 per seat). front of postcard says: THE FUTURE IS NOW with a pic of EJ handing off to CJ and a couple of artist renditions of the new stadium.

we are just one good draft and a couple of free agents away from making the playoffs in 2015.
