whaley has one year to save his own azz.
keeping TT is a ground rule double, if he moves on from TT, he needs to hit a home run at QB...which is unlikely.
#1 - the fact that a new coach had a brief meet & greet with the current starting QB who presumably is still using the facilities to rehab is no indication one way or the other of future intentions.
#2- having said that, I came away with the impression McDermott already knows the bills are moving on from TT.
who do you report to ?
do you have final say over the 53 ?
what are your thoughts on TT's option ?
What are your plans for hiring assistants? Will you retain any current assistants?
Why do you want to coach here?...haven't you heard it's a 17 year playoff draught.
follow up...How can you change the football status from that of a losing program to a winning program?
those metrics ignore the fact the sufficient time is created by tyrod using his legs to extend plays while running for his life.
in the raiders game alone the pocket collapsed on TT 21 of 40 plays ...while carr enjoyed only 5 of 35 pressures.
there isn't a QB with a first round grade in this upcoming draft.
if you pick up TT's option, go RT in 1st (improves run & pass). draft a QB on day 2 to replace EJ.
he legally "opted out" of his bills contract in order to secure a longer, richer, better one.....he miscalculated.
players in the NBA do this all the time.
he paid his dues as a coordinator and gets another shot as HC
what a great country....
Report: Chargers may rebrand in L.A.
Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News reports that the Chargers are considering the adoption of a new name in L.A.

i'd say the odds of McDermott wanting Lynn are less than 50/50.
starting with, McDermott may not want to wait on Lynn while he interviews for HC jobs.
McDermott may want to bring in one of "his" guys that he knows and trusts better.
chargers currently get 25% of STH from L.A......they can't allow a third team to compete in SoCal (SD, rams & raiders).
this was the smart long term move to protect their SoCal territory
