T Pegs made it clear that Overdorf's future is up to the next GM

all we heard last year was Cardale was "not ready" not ready to me means he didn't learn enough of the playbook. now he has to start over and learn a new one ?? TJ Yates has a huge head start. I think Cardale is in big trouble. He's not one of McD's guys.

Rex Ryan was the darling of Russ Brandon who viewed Rex as a shot in the arm to sell tickets, sponsorship deals etc.... No football guy would bring in a 3-4 defensive coach to take over a Top 5 defense already set up as 4-3. you want to blame T Pegs for listening to Russ....that's fair. I predict Russ will pay for that one year from now, as he's next on chopping block. on the surface, Whaley looks weak and got pushed around by Russ and his head coaches. now he pays the price. T Pegs has observed long enough.....you will see him bring in all his own hand picked people now.

his talent level and pay says he is all-pro. i doubt he ever gets back there....I really do.....even tho McD 's scheme is better suited to his preferred attacking style. as far as i'm concerned he quit on his teammates last year just like Mario did the year before....just in a different way. I hope he gets his act together.....I just think it's likely he gets suspended again before we can cut him loose after the 2019 season. for sure we are stuck with him for 2017 & 2018 because of dead money...and probably 2019
