  1. McShay's way-too-early 2018 NFL mock draft #8 Derwin James, S, Florida State* Listed at 6-foot-3 and 211 pounds, James has great size. He showed his potential as a true freshman by racking up a team-high 52 solo tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles. James missed all but two games in 2016 after tearing his meniscus versus Charleston Southern. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2017/insider/story/_/id/19294111/todd-mcshay-way-too-early-2018-mock-draft-nfl-draft
  2. if healthy , sammy is a stud and the decision to execise his option would be easy. the bills have extensive inside knowledge of his medical situation that they can't talk about. the fact they declined makes me believe he is unlikely to get healthy with rest and/or will need another surgery.
  3. future mock drafts are for amusement and entertainment purposes only. all sorts of variables can change these way to early predictions. nothing wrong with thinking long term. interesting how some folks knowingly come to a topic that irritates them to make negative comments ???
  4. 6. Buffalo Bills Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville: The reigning Heisman Trophy winner still has room to improve as a passer and his development (or lack of) as a junior will determine where he is drafted next April. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2018-nfl-mock-draft-49ers-take-rb-no-2-overall-bills-land-a-heisman-winning-qb/
  5. yep.....2018 mock draft time
  6. NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith said Tuesday on ESPN’s Outside The Lines (via SportsBusiness Daily), “We intended to present a proposal to the league that has probably more of a therapeutic approach to those who test positive for marijuana. The idea is simply to make sure that we understand whether a player is suffering from something other than just a desire to smoke marijuana.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/02/nflpa-continues-to-focus-on-marijuana-for-therapeutic-reasons/ Roger Goodell: Marijuana is addictive and unhealthy (Liability is the big issue......) "I want to make sure that the negative consequences aren’t something that is something that we’ll be held accountable for some years down the road.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/28/roger-goodell-marijuana-is-addictive-and-unhealthy/
  7. doomed.....laffin P.S.......we might be $100 mil under the cap
  8. The league has a marijuana problem, and the league knows it. At a deeper level, the NFL knows that a straight-faced excuse for persisting in the pot prohibition must be articulated in conceal the real reason for it: Collective bargaining. Marijuana has 2 compounds, THC which is what get you high, and CBD, which is the actual painkilling compound. THC can be psychologically addicting but is not physically addictive. CBDs do not get you high, and have zero addictive properties. The league should let players use CBD products for painkilling and not allow the THC products if they feel that strongly about it. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/02/nflpa-continues-to-focus-on-marijuana-for-therapeutic-reasons/
