thought this may be of interest to some.... (from my account rep) We are not having a specific Kid’s Day in the preseason this year. Both games will be subject to Kid’s Day ticket pricing and our game against the Vikings on August 10th will feature some activities featured previous on Kid’s Day. We will have Independent Health Family Day for the Colts game this year on December 10th. More details on the activities are to come later in the offseason (from ticket office) Thanks for taking the time to write in. This year Independent Health Family day will be December 10th versus the Colts. Both preseason games will have special pricing with the Minnesota Vikings game (Aug 10th) acting as the kids day

the point of the Article is that the new philosophy of McD might provide improved and sustainable long term results. building a team with a few high priced splashy big names (all your eggs in one basket approach used by whaley on Sammy, dareus, McCoy, hughes, clay, cordy) is not as good as building a team by spreading the risk of injury and salary cap over a greater number of players. trading down in the first round (like McD just did) is usually (but not always) better than paying a premium and trading up (like whaley did for Sammy). McD has the luxury of thinking long term.......whaley acted like he was trying to live and keep his job for one more year at a time

If Bills Don't Get A Franchise QB In 2018
papazoid replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the TT led bills offense scored the 7th most points in the league last year. "IF" the ryan led bills defense had given up the 7th fewest points last year..... we would have made the playoffs and the conversation about TT would be a lot different. -
2018 NFL Mock Draft: Bills land QB
papazoid replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McShay's way-too-early 2018 NFL mock draft #8 Derwin James, S, Florida State* Listed at 6-foot-3 and 211 pounds, James has great size. He showed his potential as a true freshman by racking up a team-high 52 solo tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles. James missed all but two games in 2016 after tearing his meniscus versus Charleston Southern. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2017/insider/story/_/id/19294111/todd-mcshay-way-too-early-2018-mock-draft-nfl-draft -
Bills Decline 5th Year Option on Sammy Watkins
papazoid replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if healthy , sammy is a stud and the decision to execise his option would be easy. the bills have extensive inside knowledge of his medical situation that they can't talk about. the fact they declined makes me believe he is unlikely to get healthy with rest and/or will need another surgery. -
2018 NFL Mock Draft: Bills land QB
papazoid replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
future mock drafts are for amusement and entertainment purposes only. all sorts of variables can change these way to early predictions. nothing wrong with thinking long term. interesting how some folks knowingly come to a topic that irritates them to make negative comments ??? -
6. Buffalo Bills Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville: The reigning Heisman Trophy winner still has room to improve as a passer and his development (or lack of) as a junior will determine where he is drafted next April. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2018-nfl-mock-draft-49ers-take-rb-no-2-overall-bills-land-a-heisman-winning-qb/

NFLPA to focus on marijuana for therapeutic reason
papazoid replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith said Tuesday on ESPN’s Outside The Lines (via SportsBusiness Daily), “We intended to present a proposal to the league that has probably more of a therapeutic approach to those who test positive for marijuana. The idea is simply to make sure that we understand whether a player is suffering from something other than just a desire to smoke marijuana.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/02/nflpa-continues-to-focus-on-marijuana-for-therapeutic-reasons/ Roger Goodell: Marijuana is addictive and unhealthy (Liability is the big issue......) "I want to make sure that the negative consequences aren’t something that is something that we’ll be held accountable for some years down the road.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/28/roger-goodell-marijuana-is-addictive-and-unhealthy/ -
doomed.....laffin P.S.......we might be $100 mil under the cap

The league has a marijuana problem, and the league knows it. At a deeper level, the NFL knows that a straight-faced excuse for persisting in the pot prohibition must be articulated in conceal the real reason for it: Collective bargaining. Marijuana has 2 compounds, THC which is what get you high, and CBD, which is the actual painkilling compound. THC can be psychologically addicting but is not physically addictive. CBDs do not get you high, and have zero addictive properties. The league should let players use CBD products for painkilling and not allow the THC products if they feel that strongly about it. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/02/nflpa-continues-to-focus-on-marijuana-for-therapeutic-reasons/
