  1. Lake Baikal is the largest fresh water source in the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Baikal Not trying to be a jerk. I just saw it on a show called "Wild Russia".
  2. Agreed. The guy is better than what we have and still has upside. Given what's available the Bills could do far worse.
  3. Perfect. The only thing I'll add, is that being able to make all the NFL throws is extremely important. While a QB is not required to have a howitzer for an arm, he needs to be able to stretch the field.
  4. Brad Butler was a pretty good player when he was healthy. Unfortunately he wasn't healthy a good deal of the time. We aren't one decent RT away from contending, so maybe this could be a good thing in disguise. It forces the team to put more emphasis on OT in FA and the draft. Which should have already been a no brainer but who knows. The possibilty of getting a healthier equivalent to Butler is decent IMO. I liked the guy but durability has as much to do with success as talent. I'm thinking Butler has come to the conclusion his body is a question mark. Good luck Brad,
  5. I'm not sure if they are top 5 of all-time but Cream White Room and Metallica One, have nice solos.
  6. A few good special teams guys in there. A little suprising I guess. Why are they cutting these guys right now? Serious question.
  7. The defense ended up being a factor in the end but they hardly decided the game. The QBs went a combined 63 of 84 for 614 yards and 3tds. The o-lines gave up a combined 1 whopping sack. Yes, there was decent pressure at times but the QBs certainly handled it. The only reason that this game wasn't a complete shootout was because both teams were slightly out of sync and dropped passes. The interception will be the most memorable play but both QBs were sharp and one finally flinched at the end.
  8. Agreed. Fans need to hope for the best player. To pick a player based mostly on position, is what bad teams do. IMO, this draft doesn't have a stud QB. I'd feel more comfortable seeing the Bills go in another direction with their first pick. Of course, my opinion is based on limited information, just like everyone else's here. A really good QB would be nice though. Quarterback is infinitely more important than any other position on the field or within the organization. If you are lucky enough to land a stud QB, your team will be in the hunt most seasons. A very good QB dominates in todays NFL, even with a mediocre o-line. The league's rules have changed the way the game is played.
  9. That could be a hundred dollar article dog!
  10. I agree, disgusting move. It's not suprising that he rubs some people the wrong way.
  11. I understand both points a view. Without being there, who knows if this could have been addressed in a less humiliating fashion. The airline could have been a little more understanding of the situation or pehaps Smith forced their hand by not cooperating. Eitherway, they have a business to run and extremely obese passengers who literally pour into someone else's seat, is bad for business.
  12. A definite poor decision on his part but not one that makes him a "low-life". While I don't condone spitting on someone, the spit was intended for a grown man, who was heckling Barkley and saying things about specific family members. Charles would be the first person to admit he made a mistake. If you listen to his interviews, he pulls no punches when it comes to his mistakes. No fluff or misdirection, Charles own's his faults. The little girl who got hit with spit, was apologized to in person by Barkley and he gave her family season tickets.
  13. I think it looks interesting. It's one of those ones that could go either way but it gets a definite look because of "The Wrestler". I thought it was a documentary about NFL fans at first. Now that is a great idea. So long as the documentary involves all fans and not just a few teams.
  14. I'm a big fan of Chuck. I don't always agree with him but respect his approach. The guy always gives his honest opinion and doesn't work on an agenda. A rare quality today and one we should embrace. I agree with him on his Bills take. They are irrelevant.
  15. Yeah but we need an OG. http://prod-assets.mog.com/amg/pop/cov200/...c651755g656.jpg
  16. I'm kind of wondering what's going on with Triche. His playing time has been scaled back and he has struggled to find his role lately. I hope he figures it out because his play is going to be vital for them. I feel the same way about Jardine. I feel pretty good about Jimmy getting Johnson back on track.
  17. I'd definately keep Schouman, Incognito, and Bryan Scott. The rest are dependant on what direction the team plans on moving in free agency and the draft. Schouman really looked like a player in his 2 games last year. I know 2 games are only 2 games, but it was enough to show he can contribute. I liked Nelson's play as well. It's possible that the Bills have a couple of really good young TEs on the roster right now. That would be 2 more than we have seen over the last decade. Incognito is a slightly above average, veteran, offensive guard. No reason to let him go. 1. Who knows how Wood will perform next year. 2. Keeping Incognito allows flexibility for different player combinations. Bryan Scott is just a football player. He reminds me of Fred Jackson. The Bills have used Scott in a handful of ways and he always goes about his task in a professional manner. He is very flexible and makes plays where ever he is lined up. I hope he is rewarded this offseason. This new staff could really help themselves by identifying the value of guys like Bryan Scott and George Wilson.
  18. Album? Is that something that involves music? I think I'll just bring my I-pod.
  19. I don't know much about drumming but always thought this video was wild. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2X3meL51Dkg
  20. It's a matter of intent. One guy made a single poor choice and it led to a terrible consequence. The other guy intentionally ran a criminal business over 5 years and took part in disturbing violence towards animals. This is hardly a mistake. He has a long history of having no respect for others.
  21. Julius Peppers- 120 games started - 81 sacks and 309 tackles Aaron Schobel- 128 games started - 78 sacks and 333 tackles Not much different if you ask me.
  22. Agreed. Wallace is a average to solid NFL QB. He is certainly far better than any of the crap we ran out there last season. With Brohm being the unknown, I'd bet everything that Wallace has a far longer career than TE or Fitzpatrick.
  23. Personally, I think what Vick did was far worse than Stallworth's crime. Stallworth made a poor choice and drove a vehicle under the influence. Unfortunately his mistake took a life and I feel like he got off relatively easy. With that being said, he owned up to the mistake and was cooperative with authorities the whole way. Vick funded and participated in a sick/criminal activity for five years. This is hardly a mistake. It doesn't matter if he grew up with the activity or not. I grew up with alot of guys that dealt drugs and still do. Would I get your support if i chose that career path? He's a grown man and made his own choice, he was fully aware of how sick it was. His own parents begged him to stop before he was even caught. I'm with AD on this. I've got no problem with him playing in the league. He served his time and doesn't owe anything else. The guy is a pile of garbage and a grossly overrated QB. I hope he gets destroyed on the field and want him no where near the Bills. The guy really can't do anything to change my mind.
