    I went to Cheektowaga Central HS. The Millennium Hotel is right next to the school campus. A friend's brother is about 9 years younger than us. He was in class in the spring and sees the Iron Sheik and Sat. Slaughter jogging around the campus. There was a WWF match the next day at the Aud and I guess they stayed at the Millennium. Was in the 80s.

    Gabels is still there on Hertel.Was down the street from The original Mighty Taco (50 years old yhis year). The synagogue that you used to eat your tacos on the steps at night is now a "department store" called The Monocle, containing, a furniture store, a barbershop, a fragrance/body care shop, a tea shop, and a community area.

    Machine Head- the first album I bought. Thickest smoke here in Cheektowaga is this morning. At 9AM the sun was orange. Yesterday at 5 PM, could smell the smoke, Haven't been outside yet, so don't know if it smells.

    Playboy After Dark was on I think Friday or Saturday after 11:30 PM. Think it was on in the years before the Midnight Special and SNL started. Was syndicated. Seemed just as creepy then.

    Six Flags Darien Lake has a large week long meeting of Christian families every summer. It might be to late for this summer, but you ca be assured it will be somewhere else next year.
