That Oakland game was the next week.I gave our tickets for that game to someone at work because we were still in mourning for my dad's death the day after the Bronco's game.

Thirty years ago today, September 30, 1990, the Bills scored 20 points in 77 seconds against the Denver Broncos. Denver was ahead 20-9 and kicking a FG. It was blocked and cornelius Bennet ran it back 80 yards for a TD.Two plays after the kickoff, Leonard Smith intercepted a batted ball for a pick-six. The XP was blocked. After that kickoff, Elway fumbled the ball at his own 4.Kenneth Davis scored on the next play. I remember the date cause the next day, I was telling my father about the game while visiting him in the oncology ward at Mercy Hospital. He died about 15 minutes later..

Gameday PreGame Thread Bills vs. Rams

Do you have rose bushes or hedges in your yard? If so hng rosary on them for good weather and a Bills win. My mom heard of an ild custom of a rosary in the roses for good weather for a wedding. She said if it works for a wedding, it should work for the Bills. We didn't have any roses, but we did have hedges., so that's where the rosary went. My mom would put it out on Saturday until Monday all during the Super Bowl years. We no longer have hedges and she can't leave the house (she's 94) but she still watches them. I'll wake her up from her nap in a dew minutes (it's 12:20) and she=ll probably take a nap at halftime but she is still a fan. -
No, but the closest ones reputed yo my house were reported at the Burchfield Nature Center at Union and Clinton in West Seneca and beyond the West Seneca garage on Union Road. A young one was hit by a car on the 190 near the Hamburg St off tamp once.

It was taken down on twitter. That is how fast it can happen. When I had my stroke 6 years ago, I didn't know it happened. I had signs and didn't heed them. I'm a stupid Polock. Was a at a picnic on a Saturday and people told me I didn't look too well. I replied I was a little under the weather , but OK. A mutual friend with a former girlfriend I hadn't seen in two years was concerned and got her to call me on Sunday and talked to me for two hours and convinced me to go to the ER. So Monday afternoon, I go in. They take my BP- 247/72!!! My first Oh Sh**! moment. I am still in the ER and at about 9PM I ask why I didn 't have a room yet. They said they were waiting for a room in ICU. My second Oh Sh**! moment. The next morning,I was getting a brain scan (MRI or CAT, I don't know which). I hear over the PA "Code Stroke! Code Stroke!" I asked what it was for, and the technician said "It's for you!" I either thought or said Oh Sh**! and threw up.I was semi-conscious and the next clear memory I have was people visiting me on Thursday. No pain at all, just things wouldn't work and I couldn't find the right words.Just left with a very, very minor weakness on my left side and hitting the wrong keys on the keyboard. A great talk on strokes is a TED talk by a neurobiologist who had one at about age 43. She described knowing everything that was happening ib her brain while it was happening.

Before Sahlen's Field was built in the 80s. there were a lot of smaller buildings there. One day a delivery man parked his truck on Swan Street and suddenly it collapsed into a large hole in the street. The buildings that were located where the stadium is now had basements that extended under Swan Street. The "roof"of the basement deteriorated and the street gave way. I remember it because the driver was a cousin's friend.

How disrespectful of the left. Trump went there to give a very respectful tribute to her and the bunch of tards on the left had to do that. Back in 2000 I marched FOR Bush in SF (when the Bush-Gore thing was being decided). We marched and obeyed every order the police gave. We were in the median of the Embarcadero in front of the SF Port Building at the foot of Market Street. There were a few lefties across the street yelling at us. One of us noticed a funeral coming down the Embarcadero. They yelled funeral and all of us put down our signs and bowed our heads until it passed. The lefty idiots kept right on yelling. -
