  1. They interviewed a female reporter who covers the Steelers alot -Aditi forget her last name. She said she received a lot of calls from NFL teams. She said she the same response for all teams. She said Antonio Brown is by far the hardest working player she has ever been around. He will help young players on both sides of the ball.
  2. Just saw it on NFL breaking news. They said Bills have been negotiating all along per Ian Rappoport. They are still working out the details but agreement is in place.
  3. Dolphins Guard Ted Larsen cut. He'll be 32 this season. Is he worth a look? Don't know anything about him other than 21 starts in last 23 games.
  4. The Bills may have gone a little high on paying Phillips but I believe the Bills really want to focus on Oline in free agency. Hence, they paid J. Phillips to firm up the DT spot. Now the Bills need only one more DT. Probably address that in the draft.
  5. This year will be an important one for Teller. Rookie OL guys tend to benefit with a full offseason, better diet, and strength training. I think he'll make the 53 man roster but other than that who knows.
  6. This is a solid signing. Gives the Bills a stopgap to address the DL this offseason and next. If Phillips plays well this year, who knows, maybe Bills sign him to longer deal next year. I'm curious to see the $ involved.
  7. Kyle Williams looking good on NFL network. Looks like he's already shed some weight.
  8. I don't see Metcalf lasting until 9. Even if he does, I'm not sure Bills take him. As of right now, the Bills have at least 4 glaring holes all of them starting spots - Center, Right Guard, Right Tackle, and DT to replace Kyle. I'm guessing Long is starting Left Guard. I'm expecting Bills to be active in free agency but they also need some immediate starters via the draft. Probably three starters.
  9. I think this is why Bills haven't re-signed him yet. Phillips wants to be a starter and get starter money. Beane is letting him test the water and I believe Beane is counting on the market being soft for Phillips and then they can work out a deal.
  10. I think he stays. It's hard to imagine the Bills having 5 WR's who are better than him. I'm reserving the 6th WR as a special teams guy. Plus Zay is on a cheap rookie deal.
  11. https://www.redskins.com/news/redskins-awarded-four-compensatory-picks-in-2019-draft The Redskins appear to have enough picks to trade up.
  12. Per Over The Cap, the Colts have 13 UFA's, 6 RFA's, and 3 ERFA's. Sorry couldn't figure out the link thing. ☹️
  13. I hope Brown fully recovers and I hope the Bills do not draft any WR with an injury history in the first three rounds. The Bills need at least 3 starters from this year's draft imo.
  14. McBeane, for the first time, will be adding overall talent to the roster. So far, it's been trade a guy and get a pick. Or waive a guy and sign a guy. Net zero sum. Between free agency and draft this ofsseason, they will add 8 to 12 guys to the roster who have contracts longer than one year. Will this put them in the postseason in 2019? I sure hope so. I'm expecting it.
  15. I'm actually chomping at the bit. I'm trusting the process but can't wait to see what the Bills do in free agency and the draft.
  16. Corey Carter i believe would have won the punter job if he didnt tear his ACL. Carter and Bojorquez will fight it out. No need to draft a punter. The Bills have more pressing needs on offense.
  17. Traded that pick and #22 to Ravens to draft Edmunds at 16. The Bills also got a pick back from Ravens. I believe it was a 5th Rd pick Sian Neal
  18. I guess will disagree. They had some talented players that were under performing and we're overpaid.
  19. I think Beane has done a pretty good job so far. He built up draft picks and got two big pieces in Allen and Edmunds. Also selected Horrible Harry and Taron Johnson. Plus picked up Levi Wallace and Robert Foster as UDFAs. His first free agency was meh. Trent Murphy and Star Lotulelei. I'm hoping that the dead cap money was the main issue. We'll see what happens this free agency. My biggest gripe about Beane (perhaps McDermott and others) so far was the handling of qb situation last training camp. McCarron with 4 NFL starts and Peterman with 2. Should have had a more experienced vet in front of Allen imo. If their plan truly was to sit Allen last season, it was poorly executed. Wr and Oline were bad last year no doubt. McBeane inherited a poor roster and there's only so much you can do per season. No excuse now with $80 M and 10 picks. See what happens.
  20. Based on what OL the Bills have under contract for next year, I like this move. Long has 44 NFL starts and is described as versatile and solid. At a minimum, sounds like he will be a 6th or 7th lineman. If the Bills draft a couple of OL, he can be a veteran presence. He sounds like a tough guy, playing through injury last year, and is smart too.
  21. https://riggosrag.com/2018/01/16/spencer-long-critical-free-agent/ Long started for the Skins in 2016 and 2017 before suffering season ending injury.
