  1. It took awhile for the Bengals oline to gel this year but they brought in Collins, Cappa, and Karras as free agents. Drafted Volson in the 4th. Grabbed another OL from Houston on waivers. My point is that it's doable to fix the Oline in one off-season and the Bengals and Chiefs have recently done it. I agree, Bills need to change their offensive approach somewhat.
  2. Bengals fixed their oline this past off season. I'm really hoping Beane does it this offseason.
  3. What's scary too is Taylor is only in his 4th season as head coach. He's already made it to 2 AFC Championship games and a Super Bowl. It might be 2 Super Bowls here soon.
  4. The oline has sucked for quite a few seasons now. Allen's escapability and running has mostly overcome their deficiencies. They really need to address it this off season. Sign a LG free agent who can start. Draft an OT, WR, and C/G. Have the OT compete with Brown and the C/G compete with Bates.
  5. I agree. Bills need to draft a young receiver early. Pair him up with Diggs. Hopefully he can develop into a WR1 over time.
  6. Not getting a good feeling about the off season. Sounds a lot like we're gonna run it back and hope for better results.
  7. Look at the 4 teams that are left. Look at their offensive lines and tell me the Bills oline is as good as theirs. Not even close. To hell with running the ball. How about protecting Allen and giving him time to set his feet right and finding an open receiver?
  8. The last 3 playoff losses, 27 - 10 Bengals, 42 - 36 Chiefs, and 38 - 20 Chiefs is pretty concerning.
  9. The Bills just got dominated on both sides of the ball on Sunday. Beane and company will look at everything. Over 4 years, Oliver hasn't played at a level where he's untouchable. Looking into possibly trading him for a player or draft pick(s) seems rather plausible.
  10. I thought Allen wanted Dorsey after Daboll left. Agree with lack of talent on offense. Been wanting oline for a couple of years now. They keep drafting worthless dline guys with high picks.
  11. Miller went down and Phillips got hurt too. Just not enough physicality up front on both sides of the ball.
  12. I understand you're upset but the Bills have won the AFC East the past 3 years and won the division by 3 games this year. They'll probably be favored to win it again next year barring some unforeseen event. Now how do they get better going forward? That's a little tricky because cap space is getting tight. They need some oline help, a WR who can make Davis WR 3, and I really hate saying this they need some beef on the frickin dline.
  13. Yep kinda of calm myself. The game wasn't close so there's no agonizing over a handful of plays or calls imo.
  14. He means Daquan Jones who was limited all week. However he did play in the last 2 series of Miami game so I'm thinking he plays. Just extra rest I believe.
  15. I just watched the Dolphins game again. FWIW Jones played the last 2 defensive series in the game. He looked fine to me. Hopefully he's a go on Sunday.
  16. Cappa was the 2nd guy to get hurt. So, are they playing better without Cappa or is it a big loss?
  17. I agree. The crowd was really loud and electric too. The Bills will be ready for it. It could be a very physical game on Sunday.
  18. It's amazing how 9 minutes of a football game that ultimately did not count is outweighing the past 2 months of football. The Bengals oline is beat up. They'll be starting 3 backup OL guys, a rookie LG, and an average Center. It's going to be loud as hell and the Bills will likely crowd the line of scrimmage at times to create confusion and miscommunication with the Bengals oline. If the Bills execute and play their game - they win.
  19. All good points. I'm really focused on 2. The Bengals defense is really good in red zone. Forced a Patriots fumble inside 10 to clinch the win. Allowed only 1 TD to the Titans in that win. Had the big stop at the goal line last week against the Ravens. Bills need to execute, take care of the ball especially in the red zone.
  20. Daquan Jones signed a 2 yr deal with Bills. Under contract for 2023 but tough decisions to be made for sure.
  21. Bills D needs to get pressure up the middle. Hoping Oliver, Jones, and Settle have strong games.
  22. The Bills D had 4 sacks, 11 QB hits, and numerous pressures in the game. Thompson was 18 for 45 for 220 yards. The Dolphins had one decent drive all game which resulted in a touchdown. The defense actually played pretty well.
  23. He was 18 for 45 220 yards. Sacked 4 times for 31 yards. 2 interceptions and hit 11 times. Each Bills D line guy had 2 QB pressures on him. He threw some nice balls during the game that were dropped but the Bills also had 10 passes defended. Miami's offense had one decent drive all game that resulted in a touchdown. Too many short fields allowed Miami to hang in the game plus the defensive TD. Bills defense played pretty well.
