  1. Surprisingly Romney is crushing the rest of GOP field in not only N.H but in all of places, Iowa. I don't believe he'll run, only unless if Christie or Jeb Bush decide against it, and then maybe he'd seriously consider it. At least he can say he was right on just about all the major issues and the incompetent boob up there now is looking like a bigger bumbling fool each and every passing day.
  2. Let's be real. It was a panic move. Don't get me wrong, I like the signing of Orton and I happen to believe he is an above average backup QB. But make no bones about it, Marrone, Whaley and co. are feeling the pressure, they clearly didn't like the way any of the QB's have looked this pre season. Manuel is on a short leash, if he falters early on, Orton will be the starter before midway through the season. Having said that, I hope that Manuel shows marked improvement from last year, if that's the case then I believe this team is primed to surprise.
  3. I think that's just more Fred Jackson being a leader.
  4. Who the hell lets their 9 year old daughter shoot an Uzi?
  5. If you have the mentality that you are a victim, you will always be a victim of failure.
  6. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the notion of keeping him here.
  7. I think the president should take a national poll when it comes to issues of national defense. Who needs leaders anyway?
  8. Facts Shmacts! Who needs them? So donating their own money to save people lives is now a days considered a good deed? pfffff
  9. My thoughts are that the kid should have never put himself in a position to be hit, he clearly was putting himself out there right to the edge. Having said that, my feelings are that Tony Stewart saw the kid, thought to himself "Look at this punk coming out trying to show me up", and I don't believe Stewart swerved into him or for that matter even purposely thought that he'd hit him as squarely as he did, but that he also didn't have any intentions of attempting to avoid him and thought that he'd go right up on him and brush him back. I think it was sort of a game of chicken, and neither side conceded ground.
  10. At the very least you are 100% correct on the second argument.
  11. And why are they being killed? And if Israeli defense systems weren't as effective as they are, you'd have many more civilian casualties on the Israeli side then we are seeing. The only reason why it isn't happening is simply because Israeli technology is far superior than that of Rockets being fired by Hamas. Make no mistake, Hamas would love for their weapons to be much more effective and the intent is absolutely 100% clear, which is to kill civilians.
  12. Wow, that guy Snow is a complete and utter hack. He began with "Why are you happy about killing children with your rocket attacks?" Really? Really???? That right there tells you all you need to know about this worthless sack of ****. Thank you for posting this, now I know that if I see him on television, to immediately change the channel. He is not interested in hearing the Israeli's side, he takes Hamas' word that they claimed that they weren't offered a peace agreement, he doesn't care that Hamas is intentionally using it's own people as human shields and he doesn't care that they are purposely sending rockets randomly into Israel. Truth is, this is a war where both sides are to blame, as JA pointed out, and that I have stated numerous times that there is no good solution. Israel is surrounded by people who wish to wipe them off the face of the planet, they took over territory as a buffer, which they should return, but let's be clear here. These extremists hate Jews, they hated them before Israel took that territory, they hate them now and they will always hate them moving forward, because they are made up of a large segment of the population that is fueled by religious intolerance, hatred and ignorance. And all you twats on this board who do not recognize the fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization that is purposely targeting innocent people and using women and children as human shields to be martyrs for this cause are a bunch of dumb asses.
  13. It's all cool, I mean who cares that they indiscriminately fire rockets into a civilian population or that they purposely place their head quarters and rocket sites in the middle of hospitals and schools so that they can decide who should be the human shields used as martyrs. It's all good.
  14. I suppose, but I believe that to be much ado about nothing. I think he is so programmed to attempt to project positivity that in some cases such as this, it comes across as slightly tone deaf. Let's see where he is a couple weeks from now.
  15. He must be reading this thread. In any case, who knows? Maybe he doesn't like EJ for whatever reason, or just maybe that's his honest opinion on the player who holds the most important position in the game, hence the perceived incessant coverage and tweets on Manuel. I'm encouraged that he seems to have the mental makeup of someone willing to put in the work to succeed and by most accounts he appears to be very mature. But, I don't know, he just doesn't seem to have "it". I hope I'm wrong and I hope he shows noticeable improvement over last year, not incremental, but clear improvement.
  16. All this could possibly mean is that the states would have to build their own exchanges. It's a technicality that would accomplish nothing other than a disruption of coverage and more money to the taxpayers.
  17. So you won't be voting for Hillary, correct?
  18. To be honest, I just don't see her losing, unless she absolutely implodes are some other candidate really catches fire. I'd say as of right now she stands a good 75% chance of winning....Where did I get that number? Straight out of my ass, but that's what I'd think.
  19. You know the old Potter Stewart saying, right? I think that applies
  20. This is a nearly an impossible situation to resolve. From the Israeli perspective: Every where they look, whether it's to the east, west, north or south, people hate them. They wish them harm and for the annihilation of their civilization. They've been attacked from all sides and as a result they took territory to give them a buffer zone. From the Palestinian perspective: Every time one of the supporters of their own country wish to fight back through means of terror or indiscriminate rocket attacks that usually hit innocent bystanders, the Israeli army exacts revenge and ends up doing ten times the damage that they received. They are constantly being suppressed and bullied around with no hopes of a semi civilized functioning economy. It's one big cluster!@#$. Best thing that could happen is for the Palestinians to purge the likes of HAMAS and for the Israelis to understand that there will never be peace for them if they don't give up some territory.
  21. Argentina so far has done a masterful job of balancing their attack with their defense. Brazil thought they could play a "full court" game so to speak vs. Germany, mistake. You can't play that sort of tempo vs. the Germans, they thrive when their is tons of space. The games where they have been most vulnerable throughout the tournament has been vs the teams who have relied on a compact defense. Of course, those teams typically haven't been able to get many scoring opportunities because of the over emphasis on defense. What makes Argentina extremely tough to beat is that they have that ability to pressure deep on the opponents end of the field and quickly get back organized on defense. They have been able to stifle Belgium and Holland's offense and limit them both to few scoring opportunities. Should be a hell of a game, but I believe Germany still pulls it off.
  22. And it's not just that he has blazing speed and that he consistently attacks and puts pressure on the defense, but he has some of the quickest feet you will ever see. When he comes at you like a blazing locomotive train, it basically forces the defender to have to act one way or the other and the moment the defender makes his move to displace the ball from him, his feet are so quick that he is able to make the move that results in either him blowing by you or getting fouled. Even though he embellishes the foul, most of the time there is indeed a foul that does take place. In any case, Robben and Messi in my view have been the two most valuable players for their teams this world cup.
