  1. I don't know man. In my view Schwartz is gone. Rex is arguably one of the best defensive coordinators/minds the NFL has seen over the past 10-15 years, this is his forte'. He barely let Pettine call the plays when he was DC, he was criticized by some for spending too much time on the defense and not enough on the rest of the team. This is his calling. I have a hard time believing that on his second and possibly last opportunity at becoming a head coach that he is going to virtually cede control, throw out his defensive philosophy basically out the window, change from being near league leaders in blitzing to the the exact opposite in Schwartz. Personally, I'd love to see Schwartz be retained and Rex assist and incorporate some ideas with schemes and game planning, but I just don't see it happening. Of course, as I'm writing this, I'm sure there is an announcement that has just been made stating that Schwartz is staying on as the DC.
  2. He's actually one of my top choices.
  3. Yeah, that's not gonna cut it. He will get a minimum of $10M with a ceiling of $12M. Nailed the Levitre contract and I'll nail this one too.
  4. So basically, calling out people for perpetuating untruths are people who we should marginalize. Got it!
  5. He's gonna get the big bucks and I hope we are the ones who give it to him. We can afford it with plenty left over to improve the team.
  6. I don't know if you are purposely being obtuse or if you are trying to make your argument while completely ignoring the salary cap hit they'd take for keeping him. Maybe they think he's decent but not at the tune of Bradford's pay.
  7. Yes!
  8. Nope, Rambo clearly made the right read, watched his eyes the whole time and made the play. Simple as that.
  9. Disagree. If you look at the play closely Rambo is reacting to where Rodgers eyes are, which is towards Cobb. If he had been looking to the receiver at the top, Rambo very well may have been there to make that play. Bottom line, we were playing with one deep safety on that play and Rambo handled it as well as anyone could have. No dude. Rambo watched Rodgers eyes and made a play to where he knew where he was going. Why can't you just admit that Rambo made the right defensive read???
  10. National aspirations led to this decision.
  11. I believe that if the offer we give him is on par with another, he may choose us over the other team considering this is the absolute best place he could play to have higher production.
  12. I did, and he would have made a better president than the current Bozo. Like I alluded to earlier, simple people vote style over substance.
  13. Jeb is policy driven and full of substance. Therefore he won't be elected.
  14. I totally expect the Bills to do everything that is within reasonable reach to upgrade at the QB position this off season.
  15. Those fumbles, specially the Brown one gave me recurring day nightmares for the entire week. When we lost that game, I knew that was gonna be the one, the one that would haunt us. Both the games should have been won. But if I had to choose one that was more winnable than the other, it was the K.C game imo. But you are right, there were lots of plays that our QB missed, I remember at the time, there were at least eight different throws that he completely missed that he should have had and many of those plays, specially the one right before half where he over threw Watkins for what would have been at least a 25 yarder that would have at the very least set us up for field goal and more importantly would have virtually ran out the clock not allowing Texas to score that touchdown before half. That was a big one. And what was extremely painful about that play was that Watkins was WIDE OPEN! And not only did Manuel over throw him, but it was way out in front. I gotta believe that when they looked at game video of that particular play, that it was THAT play that convinced the coaching staff to bench Manuel.
  16. I was pilloried from the peanut gallery for making such a suggestion when he was available.
  17. I never said he did. I posted his statement and you can interpret what he said as you wish.
  18. Ok, we get it, your sources dispute what Rapaport's are saying. Case closed.
  19. That's fine. Your sources are in dispute with Ian Rapaport's sources.
  20. It's kinda funny how people read and then interpret things how they wish to see things. The disconnect, dude, is that he said it was my source, when in fact it wasn't. Got it? I've got an idea, how about you re read my response and then check back in with me. Oh, and Rapaport's comments don't back up what you believe it does. You mean to tell me that leadership would dispute such a damning comment that denegrates their HOF QB that allegedly came from the organization? You don't say?
  21. I'm shocked that Brees would clear that up for us. In any case, we'll see. But in my view, the Saints would be crazy to not at least entertain trade offers.
  22. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000436091/article/saints-plan-to-draft-a-quarterback-high-in-2015 It's not my sources, dude. But thanks for playing Maybe, but that runs contradictory to what some others are saying. I'm not saying what you believe is wrong, just that you may be.
  23. They have lots of reasons to do it. 1) According to sources within NO, he is showing signs of aging with decreased arm strength, etc. and that they believe he has cost them a couple games this year with timely interceptions. In other words, they believe he is on the decline. 2) NO is believed to be aiming to go after a QB in the draft early on. 3) They are significantly over the cap and keeping Brees is a big reason for that. 4) They may make the calculation that NO doesn't have a realistic opportunity to win a Super Bowl in the next couple years and just decide to rebuild. It's ok if you don't believe that they won't trade him but to say that NO reason has No reason to do so is inaccurate.
