  1. Yeah, Terry aint smooth.
  2. Oddly enough, the news of Mitt's possible entry probably was the best news guys like Walker could have wanted. Between Christie, Bush and Mitt all basically vying for the same swath of voters, it leaves an opening for guys like Walker.
  3. Cruz? Please. It would like 1984 all over again, except in the blue column. Yeah, I like Mitt, I think he'd be an excellent manager of the country. Having said that, I just don't see him being able to win. Latino's already have shown they won't vote for him, so at best he'd improve in that category on the margins. Plus, there is a small yet decisive and loud group of right wingers that won't go out and vote for him. Let's face it, you gotta have an overwhelming segment of the base voters to turn out to win. Could he improve with "moderate" voters? Possibly, but it's already been reported that Mitt would plan on running to the right of Bush, which of course would hurt in the general elections. Jeb Bush, I like. Will appeal to more latino's than any other politician from the right aside from Rubio, but the anti immigration reform base voters hate it and at the end of the day will be a wash. But I do like problem solvers and he certainly fits the bill. The guy who in my view has a shot at getting the most voters from the entire right spectrum is Scott Walker. I can certainly see him appealing to the "establishment" types, simply because he is another problem solver who gets things done (unlike Cruz the clown) and I also see him appealing to right wingers. He has a conservative record and his epic defeat of the unions will win him a lot of kudos in the primaries. Plus, evangelicals will like him as well as he has a good record with them, yet he has an affable personality that even though he has these values that have been ostracized by the media and younger voters, he doesn't where these values on a sleeve and he's politically smart enough to not say Akin-Murdoch like comments. Plus he comes from a middle class family, which is a positive as well.
  4. Although I do believe that Glennon is better than anything we have at the moment, I do not believe he is a fit for what Roman would like to do. It's one thing for a coordinator to work with what he has and to step outside his comfort zone and work around the attributes of the talents on hand, it's another to thing to specifically target a player that you would have to do all those things. Not sure if that is a fair argument. Why not list 2012 and 2013 as well and look at all three years. If so, you would see between Alex Smith and Kap that in four out of the five years the QB's progressed. 80% QB progression rate, not bad.
  5. For the record, I believe you.
  6. I don't know man. In my view Schwartz is gone. Rex is arguably one of the best defensive coordinators/minds the NFL has seen over the past 10-15 years, this is his forte'. He barely let Pettine call the plays when he was DC, he was criticized by some for spending too much time on the defense and not enough on the rest of the team. This is his calling. I have a hard time believing that on his second and possibly last opportunity at becoming a head coach that he is going to virtually cede control, throw out his defensive philosophy basically out the window, change from being near league leaders in blitzing to the the exact opposite in Schwartz. Personally, I'd love to see Schwartz be retained and Rex assist and incorporate some ideas with schemes and game planning, but I just don't see it happening. Of course, as I'm writing this, I'm sure there is an announcement that has just been made stating that Schwartz is staying on as the DC.
  7. He's actually one of my top choices.
  8. Yeah, that's not gonna cut it. He will get a minimum of $10M with a ceiling of $12M. Nailed the Levitre contract and I'll nail this one too.
  9. So basically, calling out people for perpetuating untruths are people who we should marginalize. Got it!
  10. He's gonna get the big bucks and I hope we are the ones who give it to him. We can afford it with plenty left over to improve the team.
  11. I don't know if you are purposely being obtuse or if you are trying to make your argument while completely ignoring the salary cap hit they'd take for keeping him. Maybe they think he's decent but not at the tune of Bradford's pay.
  12. Yes!
  13. Nope, Rambo clearly made the right read, watched his eyes the whole time and made the play. Simple as that.
  14. Disagree. If you look at the play closely Rambo is reacting to where Rodgers eyes are, which is towards Cobb. If he had been looking to the receiver at the top, Rambo very well may have been there to make that play. Bottom line, we were playing with one deep safety on that play and Rambo handled it as well as anyone could have. No dude. Rambo watched Rodgers eyes and made a play to where he knew where he was going. Why can't you just admit that Rambo made the right defensive read???
  15. National aspirations led to this decision.
  16. I believe that if the offer we give him is on par with another, he may choose us over the other team considering this is the absolute best place he could play to have higher production.
  17. I did, and he would have made a better president than the current Bozo. Like I alluded to earlier, simple people vote style over substance.
  18. Jeb is policy driven and full of substance. Therefore he won't be elected.
  19. I totally expect the Bills to do everything that is within reasonable reach to upgrade at the QB position this off season.
  20. Those fumbles, specially the Brown one gave me recurring day nightmares for the entire week. When we lost that game, I knew that was gonna be the one, the one that would haunt us. Both the games should have been won. But if I had to choose one that was more winnable than the other, it was the K.C game imo. But you are right, there were lots of plays that our QB missed, I remember at the time, there were at least eight different throws that he completely missed that he should have had and many of those plays, specially the one right before half where he over threw Watkins for what would have been at least a 25 yarder that would have at the very least set us up for field goal and more importantly would have virtually ran out the clock not allowing Texas to score that touchdown before half. That was a big one. And what was extremely painful about that play was that Watkins was WIDE OPEN! And not only did Manuel over throw him, but it was way out in front. I gotta believe that when they looked at game video of that particular play, that it was THAT play that convinced the coaching staff to bench Manuel.
  21. I was pilloried from the peanut gallery for making such a suggestion when he was available.
  22. I never said he did. I posted his statement and you can interpret what he said as you wish.
