  1. I am convinced that at this early stage in his NFL career that Peterman is already a better QB in the pocket than T.T.
  2. If by "Not good" you mean right inline with the average NFL receiver, then I agree.
  3. I think he meant James brown
  4. It's a crazy take by Bucky
  5. No way. If that ball is thrown as Clay is beginning his break (which is when QB's should make most of their throws), that is an easy reception.
  6. I don't know. Maybe a 4th is right, if we had the opportunity I think it would be worth the risk.
  7. Why would they trade JJ Nelson for a 4th rounder?
  8. We've been reading the same reports, Miller has struggled this off season. I suppose you could blame that he isn't a fit or is having issues adjusting to this zone blocking scheme which you could put the onus back on the HC/OC. But this is the system that they chose and they need players to be able to excel within their system. They want to build the team in the vision that they have and I have no issue with that. My hopes are that they go with Miller and hopefully he'll be able to adjust to this scheme throughout this year so that they don't have to draft another player. In regards to Sammy, we've talked about this and Gabriel makes the exact same point that I did. They simply didn't believe he was worth the financial risk due to his lack of production (due to injuries) and signability. You can disagree with it, but It's a rational decision to make. You either believe he is going to be healthy and be an All Pro or you don't. They believed the latter and didn't want to have to pay huge bucks to find out.
  9. I believe that. I really hope that Dareus is able to get his **** together. Unfortunately, some people just can't help themselves.
  10. I personally wouldn't read too much into it. I am fairly certain that this position will be addressed by next year.
  11. As the McBeane haters will embrace it. Ying Yang or some shiz like that
  12. Even if *Gasp* Ducasse gets chosen over Miller, what are the odds that Ducasse remains the starter beyond this season? I would say slight to none.
  13. I'm a fan of Greg Gabriel, I think he's one of the better one's around at what he does. A few points that I found to be interesting: On Darby: On Ragland: Sammy: McD and Beane:
  14. I have no idea of this is true, but did anyone happen to catch the video of Dareus being asked by the reporter of the Baltimore issue? I'm no body language expert, but he certainly was smirking and didn't really seem to take it seriously. I don't know, it could have been nerves on his part and I wouldn't emphatically point to it as definitive proof of apathy but it did strike me as peculiar.
  15. Why are they trading him?
  16. Normally I'd agree with you. But everyone seems resigned to the possibility of Ducasse not just making the team but being a starter. So...... Yeah. Surprise!!
  17. I've spoken about this before, part of the job in just about anything you do is selling your vision. Clearly he wasn't able to do that with the Pegula's. You can fault the Pegula's for potentially making the wrong decision but they never trusted Whaley enough to go all-in with him. Also, Whaley no denying had an eye for talent, specially on the waiver wires but he really didn't know how to value that talent.
  18. I say 11. I hope that TT plays the whole year but I believe we will be out of playoff contention pretty early on and they'll want to get a truly good look at Peterman before they draft.
  19. That is about as a well-reasoned post as I've read today. One was terrible the other was meh.
  20. And, that's our view.
  21. Yes, that would be the "eye test". Plus QB evaluators such as Gruden and Greg Gabriel both happen to believe that Peterman has the potential to be a quality starting caliber NFL quarterback. I don't think anyone with that kind of cred had the same thing to say of Tuel.
