  1. For me this is how I see the top Receivers. Harrison Odunze Nabors Thomas jr Mcconkey Worthy Mitchell Coleman Franklin Lagette I was looking more into Worthy and aside from his elite athleticism, he’s a much better route runner than I originally thought and what I also like about him is that he has always had good consistent production even as a freshman. I think he’s a gamer. He may struggle against physical press coverage on the boundary. Whoever drafts him should often look to use him in motion sort of like what Miami does with Tyreek so that he avoids those situations.
  2. Not surprising, they are the most athletic group in football.
  3. Because he’s white. Most white receivers are slot guys.
  4. If the Bills really like one of the WR’s and they are around somewhere in the low 20’s then I could see that as well.
  5. For those saying McConkey is just a slot WR kind of guy.
  6. I think between McConkey, Diggs and Shakir they could split reps in the slot and boundary.
  7. I would love to have Mcconkey, I just think he’s going to be a very productive receiver in this league. He’s not the blow it off the top kind of guy I think the Bills are looking for but no way he will be around when the Bills pick in the 2nd round. Maybe trade back some and get McConkey and Worthy: Won’t happen but I would be good with it if it did happen.
  8. Mcconkey IS silky smooth. So effortless, great route runner, fantastic hands, separates probably better than anyone in the draft and now his speed comes in as not just as acceptable but as a speedy guy. I had a hunch he was going to come in the mid 4.4’s.
  9. If Shakir primarily plays on the boundary with some slot I think he’ll be ok. If he plays primarily the a lot with some boundary duties I believe he will have a really good year. He has surprising speed, showed that he has burst. He is a good and willing blocker He is good with contested catches He has shown really good/clutch hands, specially when it mattered. He is well above average RAC His biggest weakness is that he doesn’t separate great when matched up man coverage. His route running is ok. I think overall he’s a good player.
  10. I think the Bills look to make their “splash” pick with a safety before the draft. Then pick up some additional players through FA after the draft.
  11. I don’t believe that was Cosell’s picks on that screen. I believe it was from a different source. He was not thrilled about Coleman but loved Mitchell and this shows the reverse.
  12. I’m a proponent of teams keeping their powder dry when they don’t have their franchise QB in place. However, they most likely will draft their QB this year and if I were their GM, I’d look to shore up their O line and get a good FA WR along with some other character fits. I wouldn’t look to blow it all at once. The FA’s they pick look to have higher cap hits in the first year or two so that they don’t have to maneuver as much in a few years if indeed they did get their QB through the draft
  13. It all evens out, the players who were going to declare will eventually declare and in many cases they will be a more mature and polished product. If the rate of declares from underclassmen is stable, then it doesn't matter the same amount of good prospects will be unaffected within a couple years.
  14. I get the sense that McD wants to move the defense to having more man coverage schemes. I think they saw what happened with Philly the year before last and Baltimore and KC this year and are seeing that with the right players these schemes can make it very difficult on offenses, especially when you incorporate blitz packages.
  15. Absolutely! We all know that winning the Superbowl would be the pinnacle of many of our lives when it comes to entertainment. Not reaching that moment obviously has been a pain point for many of us. With that said, the amount of joy and entertainment that Josh has provided to me has been tremendous, it's been a pleasure watching Josh, our MF'ing QB do things that no other QB on this planet can do. Not just in the wins that he has afforded us but how he has done it which arguably is the most entertaining QB we have seen in our lifetimes. I'm appreciative that we are able to experience this and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
  16. I like the idea of being a heavy 12 formation team, but Knox's contract is too rich. I think they should look to restructure and somehow incorporate a cut within that structure. You could look to extend it by a year or two and have those years be very low payout years and spread out the cap hit. Or they could just ask for him to take a pay cut and restructure. I think Knox would go along with some variation of a pay cut and restructure.
  17. Thank you Gabe! Lots of great, huge memorable moments. Too bad we couldn't cash in that incredible game against the Chiefs with something even bigger. With that said, we aren't in a cap situation to be able to afford what he will get in the open market which will be north of $10M+ a year, plus I also don't believe he is the kind of guy the Bills need right now.
  18. Agree with the restructuring of Allen, McGovern, Milano and Bates. Add Oliver to this list Agree with extending Dawkins, Douglass and T. Johnson Possibly Morse Ask for pay cut from - Knox, Harty and White Cut from team - If White doesn't take pay cut, cut him, cut Hines Leave as is - Diggs and Miller (You only restructure guys you are fairly certain that will be with you the following year and neither in my view are certain) Re-sign - D. Jones, Edwards, Ty Johnson, Epenesa and Dane Jackson (Possibly RAPP if they don't pick one up in FA) External FA positions to heavily consider: Safety, DE, IDL and WR.
  19. I'm thinking the Bills right off the bat in FA pick up a safety, DT and WR. Then they will address safety, DT, DE, WR and OL through the draft and pick up a couple other players after the draft to fill in the roster.
  20. That's bull####. The Bills have beaten a lot of good teams, the last two games in the playoffs against the Chiefs could have gone either way. There was definitely some bad juju and luck. If the Bills don't give up the 13 seconds or even for that matter the bad luck of a loss of a coin flip in that game or this last game, if Jones gets to Josh Allen 10/100's of a second the game very likely ends differently or even just having Bernard play that game it most likely is a different ending. The point is that the Bills are right there, they have been dominant and they have been the toughest challengers to the Chiefs over the past 2 years in the league. This bitching and moaning that the Bills are so far off and that they need to completely retool is preposterous. No wholesale changes need to be made, they are right freaking there, surround Josh with more playmakers through this draft, get a couple solid Defensive contributors and the Bills will be right there again next season.
  21. The OP in his own way makes a good point. The great ones have that special sort of pettiness and anger to them to help fuel themselves and their teammates in the big games. I have seen Mahomes, Brady, Manning and Jordan all go over to their teammates and completely unloaded on them. Whether you agree with it or not, that is what they do. Josh, even though he is ultra competitive he is also Mr. Nice guy with his own teammates. I think he needs to not so much change who he is, but if a player does something wrong and it's a big game, then he needs to let them know. Put some fire behind it, show that Killer instinct. This isn't an overreaction, I've had this view of Josh for a couple years now and I think that is the last piece that Josh is missing. Sometimes, you have to put Mr. Nice guy to the side and hold your teammates accountable, even if that means getting into heated sideline moments.
  22. No offense man, but this sort of analysis drives me crazy because it's not rooted in anything resembling reality. The Bills have defeated the Chiefs in the last 3 regular season games, which they take very seriously. The Bills have lost the last two games against the Chiefs in the playoffs literally one by a coin flip and the other where if Chris Jones just gets in 10/100's of a second later on the 2nd and 9 the Bills would most likely win. The Bills are right freaking there, there don't have to be wholesale changes or anything of the sort, those games could have gone either way. Not to mention if we had been just a teeny bit more healthy, the Bills most likely win. The Bills are extremely close to being able to win it all, just need to execute a hair better and we beat the Chiefs. I have very little doubt that the Bills will defeat the Chiefs in the playoffs at least a couple times in the next 5-8 years. As long as the Bills have a health Josh Allen, the window is open.
  23. The Patriots never really irked me because we were never even close to being anything resembling competitive against them. Contrary to many fans on this boards thinking we are truly right there with the Chiefs. We won the last 3 regular season games and the last two playoff games were literally coin flip games. Could have gone either way. The Bills are on the cusp and we are on the cusp because we have Josh Allen. I have every confidence that we will end up beating the Chiefs in the playoffs at least a couple times over the next 5-10 years.
  24. All this bed wetting from some of our fans. You whine as if we are miles away when in fact both our last two losses against KC the game could have gone either way. The Bills are on the cusp of getting over the hump. Also, the main core players will still be here for the Bills next year, we have 3 new players on offense who broke out, Shakir/Cook/Kincaid. That should give fans a lot of hope, get another playmaker through the draft and a couple other solid picks on defense and this team will be ready to take the #1 spot barring significant injuries.
