  1. Here is how his offenses have done with him as OC in the NFL: 2009, Cleveland: 29th out of 32 2010, Cleveland: 31th 2011, Miami: 20th 2012, Kansas City: 32nd 2018, Buffalo Bills: 30th So here’s a guy who’s offenses have never finished better than 20th and were in the bottom 4 four times out of five, yet he keeps getting hired by team after team. Why? He knows people and they like him. It couldn’t be more obvious whether you like it or not.
  2. I wonder how far the best defense and the best running game in the NFL would take them? It’ll be interesting to find out.
  3. Maybe they should stop giving him crappy passers to develop then.
  4. Can’t win pin the Antonio Brown fiasco on Whaley somehow?
  5. Now Rex Ryan to the Dolphins and it would really be awesome.
  6. He’s a good OC. Whether he’s a good HC remains to be proven.
  7. He spoke to the Ravens before their Super Bowl against the Giants. So he obviously considers himself part of that franchise.
  8. That's nice of him. They offered him a job.
  9. It's also strange because this isn't really Alonso's first time. Maybe the first time with that particular foot or something.
  10. He is totally right. Big, strong QBs don't get the same protection as small, fragile ones- especially if they are running. People think Newton and Allen will be fine because they're 6-4 and 235 lbs, whereas Brees and/or Brady would be killed by a similar hit.
  11. It seems that the best way to build a winner is to get rid of good players to save money and then use your draft picks to try and find their replacements instead of addressing other areas. Until of course they want big contracts...
  12. This helps but QB is probably the one position on the offense that you should be willing to spend the money on. Whatever it takes to keep a top player like Roethlisberger.
  13. Best running game coordinator in the NFL.
  14. Sounds like they kind of guy the Bills would want. https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/ron-cook/2018/12/31/Ron-Cook-hurtful-antics-Steelers-receiver-Antonio-Brown-Mike-Tomlin-Art-Rooney-II-Chiefs/stories/201901010648
  15. He was bad at RT last season and played much better at LT. He won’t want to move to guard and if they require it then I’m sure he’ll bolt after his rookie deal is up. It’s not an easy situation.
  16. Agree 100%. Are they really going to keep three QBs on the roster so that Anderson can be a player/mentor?
  17. So wanting more minorities hired has nothing to do with race? Huh?
  18. All causes for concern. Also the inability to get a handle on the penalties. But even so, I think he’s learning and he looks like a great motivator and leader. I like him. What they really need, IMO, is to finally add talent overall instead of experiencing a net loss from year to year. It’s not his coaching but his and Beane’s roster management that needs to really improve. If that doesn’t happen this year with the money and picks they have then yes, they both should go.
  19. Greg Roman’s offense would be a great fit for Allen. Powerful running game with the QB to assist and big plays down the field.
