Can you imagine how good the Bills defense would be if Dareus played to his potential? I thought they had better play design in the passing game and not as good in the running game. I guess that was the idea, to balance things out in emphasis between run and pass.

I find it amazing that fans appear to count a win against the Jets as a forgone conclusion. The Jets swept the Bills last season and the Bills have clearly lost talent from last season. Also, the Bills are a team with two winning seasons in the last 17 years (both 9-7) so they don't exactly have a history and culture of winning. I expect a very difficult game and a win over the Jets would be a good win. If the offense looks competent against a strong defense then that would be even more encouraging.

Getting rid of Watkins was really the gut punch. He is young, extremely talented and a perfect west coast wide receiver. There had to be some serious injury or personality concerns with him otherwise that move was terrible TBH. These other trades are mostly window dressing. In any event, we'll find out over the next few weeks if this purported plan to "win now and win later" works out or if it's really a tank in disguise.

Um, what praise are you talking about? That he has the potential to be a better runner than those other three? He looks better than Tolbert and just as good as Banyard, but is several years younger. Should be obvious.

Not so sure. At least Williams was young and had some room to improve... a chance anyway. These other guys are what the are at this point. If McCoy gets hurt then this could very easily be the worst offense in the NFL

The average team runs like 60 or 70 plays in a game. Just so I understand, if McCoy is injured who will carry the ball 30 times per game now that Williams is gone? Combination of Mike Tolbert, Joe Banyard and Taiwan Jones? That's some crazy drop off.

If they lose to the Jets, at home, then the roof will cave in on TBD.

You've got to give the Peglulas one thing: they know how to blow things up. This feels A LOT like Tom Donahue / Gregg Williams year 1.
