  1. That's what I meant... where in the heck was I yesterday????? I must have been clouded thoroughly in Bills thought. What a gaffe!!!
  2. Master of Disguise Count of Monte Cristo remake Joe Versus the Volcano Wild Wild West
  3. TOUGH Patriots TOSS UP Jets x2 Titans Chargers* *only because they are playing in San Diego SHOULD BEAT Cowboys SHOULD DESTROY Dolphins x2 Broncos Ohh, and when will he stop being a Romo apologist? Could you imagine what happens if we beat the Cowboys?
  4. They should win the game before we play them, so they will be so up that they will fall flat the next week. We play them twice, and so I cannot say that I am hoping they win as of now, that is until when I mentioned above.
  5. Well, when you come out with the song that Dylan did, you are saying that all Southern men are cross burners and such. I see no problem in taking a shot at him in a song- a different time than now... a LOT different.
  6. OK, based solely on lyrics, you tell me if these are shallow and sh***y: The Ballad of Curtis Loew Saturday Night Special What's Your Name? You will get a lot of stories in their music, rightly so. I just don't see where the lyrics are bad, and I'm a lot more about the music but come on.
  7. Admit it, you act like you're playing the organ during the organ solo! I know I do!!! Ventura Highway by America is 70s Top Ten for me cruising, and throw in most Eagles songs.
  8. Some people here must enjoy non-fiction, and for those of you this book is awesome: The Inheritance Of Rome: A History of Europe from 400 to 1000 by Chris Wickham
  9. I don't think you'll get many responses back due to the lack of people posting who have seen movies/TV that far back or who know the names. I mentioned Jerry Goldsmith, perhaps the greatest movie composer of all time, in a list of composing giants and no response. I mean giant: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Goldsmith ASIDE: Lalo Schifrin did the music for a very, very unique movie that I enjoyed as a kid: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Nude_Bomb
  10. I never knew there was a video Lucky here because my parents (my father was a depression baby) and grandparents listened to all sorts of music, and so I've gone from Al Jolson and Louis Armstrong to Glenn Miller and Johnny Cash to 50s and 60s rock and beyond. I made the fading breed comment b/c you can rarely get any song on the radio that I grew up with anymore unless it is classic rock. I love satellite radio, where at least I can relive the past
  11. We're a fading breed in this century, 70s kids... first songs I ever remember hearing were Summer Breeze by Seals & Crofts and My Cherie Amour by Stevie Wonder. I have so many Weird Al albums (Dickie Goodman, Dr. Demento strain) that I can't help but really enjoy that song.
  12. Got a couple that could go either way: Life is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me) by Reunion Beach Baby by First Class Mr. Jaws by Dickie Goodman
  13. EASY, my goodness too easy. Dick Lebeau
  14. I couldn't watch The Sopranos... to me the acting was substandard and I didn't feel it like Deadwood or Boardwalk Empire.
  15. Doug Flutie did what Tebow did today and he was the Greatest American Hero, and yet everyone forgets about the ugly quarters prior to the last and the failures against good teams and playoff teams. Hopefully Tim Tebow won't be a Flutie and improves.
  16. No, because no matter how Obama is, there will be someone running against him that is worse. They are out of Reagans at the F.W. Woolworths
  17. The war is over- you can't be in wartime in perpituity. Iraq will be a stable place due to the instability of other Arab nations around them, but if Saudi Arabia becomes a battleground, things will change. I don't think Iran has much influence, to be honest... they are so far from the mainstream Arab position that as long as Ahmedinejad is still in power, they will be a joke, like Chavez.
  18. Our priorities should be: BEAT THE JESTS BEAT THE FISH BEAT THE JESTS BEAT THE FISH BEAT THE PATSIES* MAKE THE PLAYOFFS Too early to be talking draft...
  19. No WAY... Paul McCartney is rock/pop GOLD... gotta disagree
  20. The only bad song on there is Disco Duck... What about: Little Willy by Sweet You Make Me Feel Like Dancing by Leo Sayer Brand New Key by Melanie
  21. OK, serious time. Ennio Morricone Jerry Goldsmith Henry Mancini John Williams John Barry Burt Bacharach My favorite is Mancini- always will be. Great, great man.
  22. They Basque in the glory of a border problem to make it difficult No, not with the loonies running against him
  23. Maybe to the Dolphins or to the Patriots...
  24. Find his name on the Wall of Fame, the same one that has OJ on it, and then tell me whether or not he's underappreciated.
  25. Marlon Kerner Nate Odomes Leonard Smith Henry Jones John Fina Joe Ferguson Reggie McKenzie Daryle Lamonica
