IF's and But's and candy and NUTS. LOL....cmon dude he was a one year wonder on a marginal D1 program, I wish for the best also but did he even play in a pre-season? Lets wait and see when the bullets fly for real before we start trading Lee...WTF

Hey hey Kelsay has looked pretty good lately, compared to earlier in the season. Also theres a reason other WR are open when the game is on the line, teams are not gonna leave Evan in man coverage. Fitz will go to him automatically. Gailey stated that Whitner is doing exactly what they want him to do plus he added that he has more value because of the added responsibility required of him. Not my words but the coach, so obv he believes in Whitner. LEODIS McLUVIN...OMG,IS HILARIOUS, I ALMOST BUSTED A GUT

Lets Go Stevie....Use this as motivation for the rest of your career. JUST CATCH THE NEXT ONE, DAMMIT!!! We Still Ridin Witcha...one!!! -
IMO the best LT candidate in the draft, excellent footwork and athleticism. The other prospects seem better at RT, Constanzo reminds me of D. Ferguson when he was at VU.

IMHO you should not compare Luck to these QB's, they had multiple years of success in college being the major engine behind there offense. I believe Peyton started all four years, last year Luck gained recognition as a compliment to Gerhardt so this is really his 1st yr of being the man. At the beginning of the season, poster were enamored with Locker ( who previously showed promise after a one yr as the focus of his offense) what has happened since explains my hesitation with one yr performers.Give Luck time, he hasn't even declared or at least wait to see him play in the conference champ or bowl season before anointing him a franchise savior. My picks would go along the lines of drafting 1st-OT- Constanzo (BC), 2nd- best avail def play maker either DL or OLB and 3rd- see 2nd rd.. I would then move Bell to RT, sign the best 3-4 avail FA LB (D. Harris)and the rest of the picks would go to interior line depth and best avail player. We have the money to after quality FA's, the Bills have been so far below the cap for the past 3-5 yrs and it shows depth wise. Could you imagine this offense with consistent solid OL play, esp for the run game and with the chemistry that Fitz has developed with Gailey could be? Couple that with an opportunistic front seven which makes the secondary that much better...I dunno know bout you but hell, I can't wait another 10 yrs. Pretty sure Ralph and Nix can't either...

Being a Black QB; It Must be Tough
pimp on da' net replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or lynching M. Lynch....seriously folks why is this even a topic discussion? But some of the responses is alarming, how many white QB's have been benched and is that racism....REALLY. NOT SURPRISED ONE BIT!!!! I REFUSE TO GO TIT FOR TAC, ESP ON ANY MESSAGE BOARD. TOO MANY EDUCATED MINDS AND I FOR ONE WILL NOT PLAY THOSE GAMES. SOLVE THE PROBLEM...A FRIEND -
BINGO !!!! The typical overreacting fan is always to over-value new and disgard the value of the establish vet. Couldn't have explained it any better. WELL SAID !!!

Hush, you don't wanna make sense to this poster, do ya? I am glad that Johnson and the coach made reference to why these no-name receivers have some much room to operate. Typical fanatic rushing to extended a player under contract and s%#t-can what is now old...Then next is the overreaction to this new over-inflated contracted player that is now over-paid and lazy. Johnson is the benefactor of rolled coverages to the primary wide-out but I do understand where hes going. The true result of honest coverage should benefit the run-game IMHO which could open up the play-action pass.

A+ ....GOOD JOB -
I thought he finally had a decent game, btw well over-do.

I know maybe we'll trade all our current starter for future conditional picks and keep playing the draft game. All im saying is he's UFA after the season...im just saying.

An interesting D formation yesterday

Total agreement on Kelsay, he had a decent performance yesterday. -
+1,000,000,000 Why are these guys so consumed with the draft at this point? I could see if this were the last few games but the org has to develope a winning mentality first. I know ppl believe the build thru the draft crap that OBD is selling but FA was designed to address your needs and the draft is where you acquire and develope prospects. Its as if A. Luck is a given to be a franchise QB in the leaque.

What has happened to Ed Wang?
pimp on da' net replied to pimp on da' net's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its says a lot when a journyman can get the nod over a prospect/project (whatever) that has been with your staff thru OTA & training camp, injured or not. My point being an in reference to other post here, the Bills coaching and scouting dept doesn't seem to be on the same page in evaluating the type of players to fit there system. -

I agree, being skeptical of their draft evaluators is an understatement. -

I am pretty sure panic isn't the proper term for my question but im just wondering why he seems to be so distant in the equation, plus the position move...Hell if his thumb was that bad why not just put him on IR, like we've done with the other draft picks M. Easley& D. Batten. Similarly why hasn't A. Carrington been able to get activated on a def so void of playmakers or run stuffers, a supposed strength of his. To my original question have the scouting dept over valued these players or were they just reaches/ developemental players that draft prognasticators predicted? -
I know the O-line has improved as of late but C. Howard goes down and Ed Wang hasn't even been active for these games. What is going on? Wrotto gets picked-up off waivers and he activated before a player the staff was high on coming out of college. I don't get it, was he over valued by the scouting staff?

SI Has Luck Coming Out
pimp on da' net replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Be careful for what you ask for...I still wouldn't take a college QB until he has more of a history. Locker was the man at the begining, Id rather go after Vick in FA and draft OL & Def playmakers this year. IMHO, a good (rather short) college career doesn't guarantee a franchise NFL QB. -
