  1. I believe he did say Too smart for LB, thats why she followed with, too small for DL ....and he quipped that he could play QB.
  2. Well said..... look i dont want the guy to lose his job. But you hit the nail on the head here, it seems Schoop (and his intellectual reasoning) its like he's tryin to be a very poor man's Bob costa or Al Micheals from his point of view (he's no where in there class). When he was on NSA he usually would take the high road, and i really liked that about him but since then, its like a personal vendetta at times and against callers. Also when they seem to hit the dog days of the business why dont they have more interviews from national experts to balance things out and inform the listeners ie. Jim Rome?
  3. Mike Schoop is a POS. This guy is amazing, not only is he condescending to the listeners. Its obvious sour grapes with him an his brief stint w/ ESPN, this guy tried to belittle Chris Berman about his commentating popularity (believes its not deserving). Amazing i can't tolerate him any longer....gonna try Rider but for real nfl insight i listen to "moving the changes" w/ T. Ryan and P. Kirwan (very knowledgable)...IM SORRY BULLDOG, PLZ TAKE OVER FOR CHUMP ( and his ridiculous so-called intellectual contest)
  4. Jeez!!!!!!! It was his rookie season, wide receiver are one of the slowest developing positions in the league, calm down.
  5. He missed the last 6 games, last year with various injuries. Starting OL 2009 season: LT- Walker LG- Wood C- Hangardner RG- Levitre RT- Butler
  6. When did he say that? He only responded to the (and probably the millionth time asked about the contract hold out) question asked, was the contract extension an issue after the holdout....and his reply was early in the season but not an issue after that. Now be reasonable ( i know far fetched) after a long drag out fight with the FO and you lose. Wouldn't you question your status with the organization after not getting your worth in the market? These guys have a short shelf life, NFL contracts are not guaranteed. Lets not hold them to a standard, not one of us wouldnt allow if we had the option.
  7. Thank you...ITS CALL STUPIDITY. THE DOG CHASING HIS TAIL. Stocking up on draft picks are good, if you have great evaluators of talent plus superior coaching, we have neither. We all wish the best for this org. and as i read from the posters, they're some great ideas but caution to the wind. Do you really believe these cast of character have any idea what they're doing here, football wise?
  8. Cant wait for the draft? So they can pay a prospect with the hope of developing him into a pro bowler caliber player right? then what trade em and start all over....yeah, we can become the rest of the leagues farm team ( im really excited, now)
  9. WOW , dude really it's just a game.....Are you kiddin me
  10. Just going by history with the Bills, they usually dont value one year wonders sorto- speak ( every since bein shot in the foot with E. Flowers). That being said a guy like Ayers, Matthews and Maybin although good players don't seem to fit the mold of 1st rd. pick of this organization at the #11 spot. They seem to want guys with a track record of starting a few years, even guys who didn't have such a good senior yr....That being said here are my top 5 (excluding possible trade of our franchise OLT) 1. Orakpo-DE/OLB 2. M. Johnson-DE/ OLB 3. B. Raji- DT 4. T. Jackson- DE 5. E. Brown - DE/OLB
  11. I can see the Bills trading down if they get the right offer. They've got about 4 needs and 2 first day picks to fill them with. Thats more likely to be the case w/ our Bills. One concern though hearing from DJ, he seems to like the LB situation
  12. May i have the pittsburg steelers, thanks
  13. So from this "Sack Stat" comparison your trying to say that Peters is the worth start Tackle in football? PLEASE.... Its almost impossible for you to know the Bills Offensive Blocking scheme through out the whole game, if so we're really in trouble, because what could any DC's from around the league do with this information? Jason Peters by his own admissions stated he was responsible for roughly 4-5 sacks this yr after reviewing game films during an interview (channel 7-Sunday Sports ). IMO, your stats are very questionable.
  14. Of course every player in the draft, that's on a projected Bills radar, will not be around after the 1st Rd.. Guys there are only like 40 or so picks before our 2nd pick, barring a trade...LOL. Listen all these players are great athletes, its coaching and team scheme which allows their ablities to shine. E.g. Denver running backs (previous coaching staff) NE defensive backs- who the hell ever heard of R. Gay, Hobbs anyother fill in that they have used ei., Troy Brown (wtf) and Cincy O- lineman.
  15. I would like C June because we definitely need to get play makers on the defensive side of the ball. He has a history in the league for creating turnover when the opportunity arise. IMHO,this is all a moot point if the Bills dont invest in bigger penetrators upfront, to create havoc. list = 1 Micheal Johnson - DE/OLB Evander Hood - DT Travis Beckum - TE AQ Shipley - C best available interior lineman - C/G best available athlete - S/ ST best available DL
  16. Universally, are these the draft experts or actual Team scouts..hmm ?? Look the guy is a good player but with all the factors involved eg. consistency, technique and novice at the position, he's a project. I can see him going to a team like the patriots or steelers b/c they have the coaching staff that will use him properly ( spot duty) w/ a veteran defense. IMHO,you put him here and the expectations ( as you say Bruce Smith...still LMFAO) of immediate results = Kelsay or C. Ellis.
  17. HOLD ON THERE COWBOY,LOL....IM GONNA GIVE YOU SOMETIME, TOO REALLY THINK ABOUT THAT STATEMENT. LET ME GET THIS RIGHT, ARE YOU COMPARING THIS GUY TO A HOF PLAYER?
  18. I didnt know Cincy only played three games last year...LOL (Rutgers- How good were they last yr?, Pitt and VT). Anyway he looks quick off the ball in those three games, definitely value tho in rds. 3-5.. Btw take a look at Bills pick A.Bowen on youtube from 2007..that athlete label = rd.3-5
  19. He might not be on the board when BUF's 2nd round rolls around Its seems every profiled player is overvalued on this board, haven't you guys learned from the past drafts? Most players labeled as "athlete" are usually drafted in rds. 3-5, at best hes drafted in the compensatory picks of rd.3. Question, if he's not around come the Bills 2nd pick, whose knocked out of 2nd rd.? Believe when i say they're all athletes just put them w/ the proper scheme and they will shine. Also where would you play him in this garbage, ahem....complex, ahem....defense?
  20. Why stop there, lets get as many as possible The value in the NFL draft is the 2nd thru 4th round....all the 1st round brings is large signing bonuses for a job well done in college (unless there is that rare phenom). SIGN PETERS!!!! AND STOP THIS NON-SENSE !!!
  21. Great post...he definitely brings alot to the table. I'm very high on this guy, even at 11.
  22. Scenario #1 1. M. Johnson - OLB/ DE 2. A. Mack - C 3. C. Coffman or J. Cook - TE Scenario #2 1. Raji - DT 2. Ayers - DE 3. T. Beckum or S. Nelson - TE
