  1. I think if your Dad subscribes in Rhode Island he can get the Bills on his television and you may be able to get the Bills on the Sunday Ticket Max that goes with your Father's package. I could however be wrong. I would have him purchase it though and you can use the online portion of it.
  2. I don't know who heard the post game interviews with fitz and gailey but it's interesting that they both were unwavering in that Fitz wasn't bad tonight. Fitz said he thought he was "great." Gailey said he will look at the tape but thinks it will go with what he saw live that it wasn't on Fitz. All I can say is you don't have that unwavering support if there isn't some truth to it. Mate fans don't know everything that goes into each football play that is called?
  3. I heard yesterday he had a sore groin and it was precautionary to hold him out. They said on Wgr gailey wanted to be extra careful at this point.
  4. I am not worried about "making use" of one receiver. I think there will be times where Fitz can utilize Graham however I think its clear to most people that Fitzpatrick has the ability to spread the ball out well. Is the he the best QB, or the one we all wish for? No probably not but I am a believer that he is perfectly capable. It's easier to play the QB position when you have a defense you know can and will make stops for you. You have to be a little less of a gun slinger when you have a Defense behind you. I think that will help Fitz alot this year.
  5. I believe he was beat bad on the first big play in the Redskins game when Garcon ran a slant/post... cant exactly remember the route. Just going off of the top of my head however.
  6. First of all this was on Incarcerated Bob's twitter so it is meaningless... second the guy doesn't have health issues. For all his supposed health issues he has played in 45 of 48 games in his career and has put up some pretty good numbers in those games. I would be all for it. You wan't a playmaker on offense to go with Steve Johnson and the RB's I am all for it.
  7. Because brad smith can be 3rd qb, personal protector, gunner, wr, among other things. You keep a guy that can play in that many different places...
  8. This is a dumb post. I am in my mid 20's don't smoke (anything) never have. I have had a few beers at a Bills game but have never been drunk. What's the point? Spend $50/60 to not know what's going on? Just doesn't make any sense. I go to Bills games because I love the team and love football. It isn't just a party for me I guess.
  9. Chill out with the yard work part... I mean if you want me to "enjoy" my weekend any way.
  10. Not that I don't agree that the drinking age Gould be lowered but the law is the law. Unfortunately there are the few in the crowd that ruin it for everyone. I have personally never understood paying $50 (on the low end) to go to an event an get so messed up you don't even know what's going on. Doesn't make sense to me.
  11. So you just hate Kelsay I take it... He started the game not Anderson and had a real good first series.
  12. Remember what we looked like 1st preseason game last year? Yea... Wasn't quite that bad last night.
  13. They ended the drive that Stevie got mauled on. If that was called we might feel different about how the offense looked but that ended that drive for us.
  14. Last week Rex Ryan shot his mouth off about the Bills having to prepare for Tebow and how that takes away from prep time for other things. Well last night we ran no huddle. It didn't look good, we didn't run the ball once, but it's on tape. The Jets will have to spend time on it especially if the Bills do any of it next week or the week after. You can say what you want about last night looking bad and the doom and gloomers can say we are awful but there was some positive things that came out of last night's game.
  15. You clearly mean he did this after hopping off the pile and celebrating something he didn't do...
  16. COnsidering he wants fitzgerald money and IMO would cost a 1 he's not worth it. The wr position on the Bills isn't plug and play so I just don't think it would be worth it at this late of a stage.
  17. Update ---- I called in this morning because we are 1 week into not having channels. I just asked for customer retention. When the lady answered I said look I am not trying to threaten to cancel, I am not in the mood to play that game this morning. I would like the on demand set up on 2 of my TV's and I don't want to pay for it. She said ok, gave me 2 of them ($120 value). I also said can you discount the College Football pack and I wanted to sign up for HBO. For College Football it works out to me paying $9.99 the 4th month. She credited me $29.99 for 3 months and $20 the 4th month. As for HBO she gave me a few different cost options and then just told me she would give me all of the movie channels and sports package free for 2 months and it would shut off after 2 months so I don't get billed. Moral of the story: it might be worth a second call with the 2nd call just being honest, nice and asking for more. Just thought I'd help.
  18. I actually just got some terrible customer service before getting transferred there and took advantage of the hardest day for those reps in dealing with the dropped Viacom channels.
  19. I have been with them for 4 years. I have gotten a deal since year 1. That is all besides the point because this Viacom thing and losing channels last night at 11:30 P.M. was enough to get it done easily. You might want to try to have that conversation today versus your typical Sunday Ticket to new customers conversation. It obviously worked prefect for me. I ended up getting about $650 in credits I think. If you need any other advice let me know.
  20. Yea my daughter is pretty upset as well and she's 2.
  21. Well I have been waiting and waiting to make the dreaded call to get a discount. When I woke up and 26 channels were black I said hey what the hell. I talked to a few different people who gave me horrible service and then finally got transferred to customer retention (I tried to get transferred there from the start) He gave me the NFL Sunday Ticket Max for free, a $20 Bill credit for the next 12 months AND took care of the balance of $122.67 on my account. If you haven't made the call yet today's the day. Be firm and demanding and don't fall for their apparent pitch of everyone has to go through the negotiations and losing channels. I couldn't be happier right now. Update ---- I called in this morning because we are 1 week into not having channels. I just asked for customer retention. 22. For what it's worth I don't believe it's an auction in the sense people are thinking. Groups will put offers in and the "highest" will be accepted. If Ralph's wishes are to keep the team in buffalo, his family may view 800 million from Jim Kelly more than 1 billion from some slapdick that will just move the team and crush a city and region. This is just my opinion but I don't see buffalo in jeopardy of being moved.
  23. I was surprised to see we were 2-6 during sporanos tenure. We got swept in 2008 and 2011. At first i though we have owned the fins recently... I was wrong.
  24. I've talked to mark and he has told me a couple different times he has no affects from his concussions. To be clear I am not mark's friend so he may have been more honest with you than me.
  25. Truthfully I think the game is ALREADY getting safer. It will not be as bad with these rookies as it was for the rookies of 5 years ago. Coaches, players, medical staff, athletic directors, everyone is more knowledgeable on this issue now. If the game is taught correctly it doesn't have to be "too dangerous." Football will ALWAYS be a violent game but it should never stop being played. More non contact practices are happening in the pros and that should happen at all levels. Helmet to helmet hits should continue to be penalized with fines AND suspensions. If the game is taught correctly (form tackling/head up, blocking with hands and not putting ur Shoulder and head down, d-lineman leading with their hands and hand fighting to get off blocks, etc) there will be less head injuries period. If it is coached right at youth levels through college it will transition to the pros. People who played in the 90's learned different tackling/blocking techniques than were taught in the 70's. Football can be around for a long time, and played "safely" if taught and played properly. This is just my opinion.
