I think the most effective way of slowing down Brady (not stopping him) is to bring pressure only with your front 4 and leave the rest in coverage. If you blitz, you die. We wont be able to bring pressure with 4. I know it. You know it. Brady knows it. And im not blitzing. I rush 3 and put rest in coverage and start praying that there is a fumble and an INT somewhere. And then our offense needs to score 30.

Even conservative coaches go for it on 4th down every once in a while no? And didnt they decide to bring back Tyrod in the offseason? The fact that he was benched for 2 quarters doesnt make him river boat ron. If you think McD is anything but conservative and calculating, I dont know what to tell you. Im not saying its a bad thing necessarily. But dont make out McD to be a guy that is going to want to pass the ball 40x on offense regardless of who the QB is. McD himelf said during the offseason that he wanted to run shady into the ground, did he not? Hes a run the ball, control the clock, dont turn the ball over, and play good defense kind of coach. Aka: conservative.

McD is super conservative. Thats never going to change. Its going to be ugly many times bc if we’re up even one score, McD is going to want to go full on hermit mode. On the brightside, many of those ugly games can be wins over time.

The argument that they dont “trust Tyrod” is beyond laughable. This narrarive needs to end and end fast. When has Tyrod ever been reckless with the ball? What exactly does that mean to not trust Tyrod? The clowns brought him back this last offseason and hes the starting quarterback. Claiming that Dennison doesnt trust Tyrod to run his offense is an indictment on Dennison and not Tyrod. The clowns made him the starting QB, and now they dont trust him? Here’s a thought: maybe the 60yr old grandpa we have at OC can remove his depends and finally run an offense that works to the strengths of the players he’s starting out there. If im an offensive player on the Bills do I trust Rico??? Id look over to the sidelines and ask Rico, where’s Kubiak?

I completely understand. However its one thing to be critical and its another to be ridiculous. Just look at the first page of this board and go through the countless threads on TT. Its been that way for 2.5 yrs now. And there are different levels of fandom I believe. My favorite player on the Bills right now is probably Shady, with Kyle Williams a close second. Im still a fan of Tyrod though. Dareus while he was here probably fit the mold of least liked: overpaid, lazy, and not reliable. Even then i still rooted for the tub of goo.

Im a fan of anyone on the Bills. Its the team i root for. Hes not an A-hole or a bad person so there is absolutely nothing for me to hate about him on a personal level. As for Tyrod the player, im still a fan regardless of his struggles. The offense he’s been on coming into this season set some all-time Bills records on offense. The disdain for Tyrod on these boards is over the top and flat out ridiculous. Not to mention that nothing was expected of the guy when we got him. Its not like he was a high draft pick who was a complete bust and screwed us. Ive never seen such an underdog story ridiculed and scrutinized so much as Tyrod. Every thread on here. Every day. Non stop.

I dont get what you mean by once offenses change again. Gruden hasnt coached a game in forever and he’s usually on-point when calling a game.
