Screw this clown

The Weekend is fairly well known I do agree that halftime shows have gone downhill. Rock bands can bring a certain energy with them. However can anyone name me current rock bands that are big? I love me some 70s/80s rock bands like anyone else but i dont need to see some 80yr old dude have a stroke on stage. There are many solo performers nowadays. Also, the SB commercials have officially gone to *****. Not quite sure when it happened, but it has been years now.

My favorite throwback is the red standing buffalo. Id be in favor of that

I think we currently have some of the best unis in the NFL. The white helmet is key.

Watt has had exactly 1 good season in the last 5yrs. I wouldnt give him a penny.

Watson vs Allen.
bobobonators replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watson was better out of the gate and was definitely more NFL ready; however, Allen’s season last year was better than anything Watson has done. Allen’s ceiling is higher. Allen’s ceiling is as high as any QB in the NFL right now. I wouldnt trade Allen for anyone. -

Fair enough. I just feel this offense isnt the kind of offense, as Allen continues to evolve, that is going to dump it off to the RB 10x a game in the passing game. Allen is looking to make plays downfield. That being said, i do agree that a more explosive/homerun threat at rb would be nice. A first round pick though? Drafting a RB would be three consecutive years we draft a RB in the first 3 rounds. In a passing league, or during any era, thats kinda nutty. -
A complete offense matters

This x100 So many people making conclusions off the super bowl and ignoring the entire season that got these teams to the super bowl. News flash: TB didnt get to the super bowl with a balanced offense. They sucked running the ball all season. News flash: KC didnt get to the super bowl not pass protecting and having dumb penalties. -

I would be against a RB with the first pick. This offense is geared towards the pass - emphasize that. We have a RB on our practice squad that dominated Miami, call him up. Do we know how good Moss can be yet? So much capital invested at RBfor a team that doesnt focus on running the ball is not a good move in my opinion. -
Dont take the exception and make it the rule. It would be foolish to discount the obvious need to be able to continuously score 30+ in today’s NFL. Mahomes has passed for 114 TD’s in 3 years and their core set of players on offense arent going anywhere. Yeh you can punch them in the face. Maybe once or twice a year if youre lucky. No team is immune from bad games.

I will personally watch the super bowl regardless of who plays. Who here doesnt? I mean its super bowl sunday, if youre even a mediocre sports fan youre going to tune in. Now, why was it down this year? There are probably dozens of reasons why - probably the most important of which revolves around a once in a lifetime pandemic and political uprisings/disarray. Many people that are fringe sports fans to begin with, who in past years might have tuned in bc it was the thing to do, this year decided there were, in fact, other things to do.

MVP vote - Josh got 2nd most votes

The "never invested a first-round pick on an offensive weapon" is also tiring. With that mindset, only 1st round players can be elite? Diggs was a 5th round pick by the Vikings - did a very average QB like Kirk Cousins somehow make him great or is it that great players can be found later in the draft as well? I don't care where Adams was drafted - he's currently an elite WR in the NFL; same with Jones at RB. Sure, Rodgers makes anyone great, but the assumption that these players wouldn't be great on their own without Rodgers is slightly flawed, considering players all over the league are drafted in the later rounds and become stars regardless. -
I would be in favor of trading up to land a more sure-fire impact player either on offense or defense. Unlike years past, we don't have "too many holes to fill," assuming we resign our 2 OL. Trading up would allow us to possibly add a piece, either on defense or offense, to put us over the top. If we can't resign Milano, we get a comp pick correct? That can be used for depth at CB, OL, or even to draft Milano's replacement. Id target the teens for a trade up: Christian Barmore from Alabama for the DL - McD likes his versatile DL, and has shown he can never have enough. He's an impact-type player that can play different spots on the DL and give that group a boost. Micah Parsons LB from Penn State - this guy can play 3-4/4-3, doesn't matter. He's a hard hitter and EXTREMELY physical. If we lose Milano, I would seriously consider trading up if he falls past 15. The only player on offense that I think is a viable candidate to trade up for, based on where he's projected to go (late teens/early 20's) would be Kadarius Toney WR from Florida. I know we don't really have a "need" for a WR; however, I feel Toney is a player that if utilized with creativity can create mismatches every single game for opposing defenses. A true difference maker on the field in my opinion. If either of those are available for a trade-up, I would highly consider it. We no longer are the same Bills team that has to fill holes all over the roster with the draft. I think we can be a bit more aggressive now and swing for the fences if we see a player we really like. We already have our franchise QB.

bobobonators replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The case could've easily been made for Allen winning the MVP. There continues to be this fascination by sportswriters with Rodgers. Rodgers had an amazing year and yet, Allen still accounted for nearly 600 more total yards. Rodgers did have 6 more total TD's. The narrative is that Rodgers doesn't have a supporting cast - the dude has an elite WR and an elite RB. The reality is that in their last 4 NFC Championship games, GB has lost them all, scoring under 30 in each one I believe. -
Is The Answer @ DE Already On The Team?

Visually: Oliver looks short and plump; myles looks long and lean. Im sure Myles arms are probably half a foot longer, which comes in useful against tackles. -
Derek Carr reportedly in demand, could lead to trade
bobobonators replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see a team like the Colts trading for Carr. The Colts, as a team, are pretty solid across the board. Is Carr a downgrade from Rivers last year? I dont think so. If anything, Carr is capable of putting up huge numbers any given week - we’ve all seen it - and can be viewed as an upgrade. If im a Colts fan and I look at how good my team roster is, Id gladly trade 2 first round picks to guarantee 10-13 win seasons for the next 3-5 years in that division. The colts should not draft a QB and let him develop while the window for the talent they currently have closes. -
The Great Tremaine Edmunds Debate
bobobonators replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Theres a lot that has been said here about his age, his instincts, scheme usage etc. I feel hes not yet an impact player. He misses too many plays - he either hits the wrong hole or when he gets it right he misses a tackle too frequently. I want Edmunds to be as great as he’s sometimes portrayed - its not common to say this of Bills players in the media, but Edmunds tends to be overrated by announcers. Hes been good but not great (so far) in my opinion. -

The funny thing is the last two seasons Carr has put up better numbers than Stafford. And Carr is younger. Is it really that crazy at this point? -
What is Stafford’s ceiling and floor. Realistic ceiling: 4800yds, 30td, 10int Realistic floor: 4000yds, 24td, 13int What about Goff: Ceiling: 4600yds, 30td, 13int floor: 3900yds, 21td, 15int Maybe Stafford will come in and throw for 5000+ yds, 40tds, 10int. It could happen I dont think thats a realistic expectation. Hes done that once his entire career.
-
It has been reported that other teams made significant offers for Goff. No other team was able to provide a Stafford-type QB however.
-
Goff is 26yrs old. Has been to a SB. Probably wouldve won a SB if it was any other opponent besides TB and BB. Just two years ago he was in the MVP discussion at 24yrs old. The Rams were very rational. Goff is being talked about here like he is Mark Sanchez and Stafford like he just won the SB or MVP.
-
I get that argument however Stafford has had (almost always) pretty decent WR, to include one of the greatest ever in Calvin Johnson. Looking at the numbers for Stafford hes thrown for 30 or more TD just two times in his career and hasnt done so since 2015. And Detroit passes a lot. Stafford better go to the Super Bowl..
-
Agreed. Stafford had one truly great season, almost 10yrs ago now.
