Anyone with a functional brain would say the Browns. Garrett is a stud at DE, Jarvis Landry is better than any of our receivers. Their runningbacks are Hyde, Chubb on a rookie contract. Ward in the secondary. Rookie QBs they got the no.1. Njoku at TE. They got some nice pieces going forward.. Hopefully we can get there but with better results.

The talent at the top of the draft is d line, but we invested a lot in Allen, give him some lineman and a blue chip WR, a group that can grow together. Lets start plugging some holes with guys who will be together 4 years

Patriots are also the masters of getting a pick back on a trade. They even covered the downside if hes not active for 10 games they get a 7th from Cleveland.

These future drafts are going to have to be awesome. with the number of holes this roster has. We have 3 extra day 3 picks. Not like we are loaded in the early rounders I think its going to take a 86 49ers draft where they moved down several times and had some great hits to turn this talent depleted roster into something competitive.

You're missing my point, If we have 13 million in dead Marcel money, plus if we take Star on just a 3 year deal, the 6 this year, 11 next year, 10 the year after that and 5 million in dead money in 21 and add that up. its 45 million. No real savings and I would rather have Dareus. S

Yeah but Star is over 11 million next year, 10 million in 20 and still has 5 million in dead money in 21 if we cut him. I just dont see a lot of savings there long term, especially for a guy with 0 tackles.

Ive wondered this......was there really any savings with the trading Dareus and eating his signing bonus and signing Star? Seems like when I go to the over cap site the Jags are only paying Dareus about 10 million----about the same we are paying Star. I mean if all about the same think there's any personnel person in the NFL who would rather have Star over Dareus?

Lets face it, 0-16 is a distinct possibility. Say we go 4-12 in 19, after all we will have a bunch of rookies with extra late round picks. The Kool-aid drinkers will say in 19---hey they're just rookies it will take time..... If I told you that the end of Rex/Whaley3 years later we would go 9-7, 0-16 and 4-12 how many of you would of signed up for that?

Beane really worries me. I dont think he has a clue. His FA signings have been terrible. He's trades up too much. We;re going to try and develop a rookie QB with a terrible OL, and a bunch of scrub receivers, how is that a plan for success?
