I agree with you. turnover on this team in the next 2 years will continue. What I like about McBeane is its the anti-Whaley and judging by my signature i never thought much of him. Whaley traded future picks for a team that was not close.....Whaley had us close to the cap with a mediocre team....cmon now be honest. So this new regime, they are doing things different. Im all for that. You have to give him his first draft and full off season. I do honestly believe these guys are much better at the GM and personel than Donohoe....Marv....Brandon....Buddy and Whaley. I could see it. I havent seen any first round mock draft with Baker Mayfield in it. There is talent past the first round at quarterback. With the holes on this team, and especially the lines and lbs, I see McBean using all these picks and definetly looking to acquire more. At G you have Ritchie on his last year and Vlad, who knows where Millier is on this staff but it isnt good. Cordy and his anke and high salary.....Beane is going to look at that. DT you may be seeing the end of KW in a Bills uni and you have what Washington. Big need there.....Lorax is near the end. Brown is a UFA. 5 picks in 3 rds......yeah were going to need them all and maybe more.

I honestly think if you gave Joe Webb Tyrods snaps....the numbers maybe better with Webb. I grant you TT would throw less ints.....but the passing and running yards could possibly be better with Webb. Sounds crazy but really think about it. Around 200 yards avg passing with one TD and 30 rushing.---with say 5 tds. I could see Joe Webb doing that for 15 million less.

During the drought....we had a year or 2 with Bledsoe where we were a better than mediocre to poor passing offense. The other years were JP, Captain Checkdown, FItz with Stevie and the no name wrs, erratic EJ, and TT. If there's one thing to change and improve, its a functioning passing offense.

Maybe when TT QBs a team deep into the playoffs can you compare him to JK. Yes football fans can picture TT leading a team to hoist the Lombardi trophy. Quick there after, their mom wakes them up in the basement.

With TT the choice is easy. We're going with him in 18, but in the draft we have to get the QB of the future. With TT at 30, Im not committed to locking him up long term on some 100 million dollar contract and committing the team to 3-5 more years of him. The D really played well Sunday, . I'm sure most all of us were thinking on the last drive....god they're moving right down the field, here we go again, I know how this ends. This kid Tre, is a playmaker. Know what wins games, guys who make plays. In our playoff drought, we have had anti-makers. The int, easy drop, fumble, stupid penalty, onside kick at a key moment. It was great seeing somebody step up and make a game sealing play.

I think Shady is definitely here next year. Im not a cap expert, but when I look at the over the cap site, I not sure about pre and post June cut implications. But it seems like he has 3.7 milion dollar savings in salary but he has 5.2 million in dead money. So for 3.7 million I can have him on the team and Im going to pay 5.2 either way, I'll keep him. Shady is playing for the HOF now. He's on a team that likes to rely on the running game.....He gets the carries, benefits the team and the player. He can move on for the 19 season.

One bright spot, there has been a lot of turnover in the scouting department. Which was badly needed. We will see what the GM does in his first draft and what the scouting staff gets us in the next 2 years.
