  1. Swung for the fences to get Kyle Pitts. Cost 2-1s 2-2s and a 6th to get Pitts and a 6th. Still came out with 8 picks this year and still have 5 picks next year. Just wanted to try something different. 2. Receiver got contacted multiple times while ball was in the air
  3. Penalties were down all season long. In the playoffs the conventional wisdom is they let them play more and you would think even more so in a Superbowl, but no, not with Tommy boy.
  4. Starting to see why late 7 figure bets were coming in for Tampa Bay.
  5. Much like a player like GBs King can have an awful game, the defensive game plan for Kelce was the equivalent. We criticize players a lot, but that game plan was terrible. As someone who was an adult during the SB years, it always bothered me, that in the first SB we didnt run Thurman 30 times against a 2 man front at times. I thought Daboll and Frazier didnt come up big. They need to get better as much as any player to get over the hump. No doubt Reid/Bienemy/Spagnola did better than our two. And then its up to Beane to improve the talent. KC is the bar. What was just awesome about this season is its clear that process is working and our standards we expect of this team are much higher.
  6. I agrree Gabe has shown a lot for a rookie.
  7. I agree with all the posters who mention his lack of instincts. Its amazing how often he actually moves away from the hole the run is going through. And with all that speed it doesnt show up in pass coverage. I would not be overpaying him when his contract is up.
  8. Draft a runningback that can outrun present day Frank Gore
  9. I'll put a twist on your sentiment. Also don't get butt hurt of criticism and fans saying what needs improved. Its a good thing....our standards are higher now.
  10. DE has to be our weakest position Cant be a good defense without a consistent edge rusher.
  11. If the Texans hire Frazier,...there will b a revolt in Houston.
  12. DE and runningback.
  13. Romo knows what hes talking about...underneath
  14. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeked. Time has come today.
  15. Man Thurman was something special.
  16. Yeah, runs that went for first downs but you see with your eyes the 4.6 and change speed. A better, faster back would beat that linebacker or safety and take if for a huge gainer. In fact we use to have a guy named Thurman who could do that. Again Im all for turning the offense up to 11 if you know the reference.
  17. I would be down with Harris. Ive seen holes this season a better runningback would of taken for 40 yards instead of 12 or 13. This is a offensive, playmaker time period. Andy Reid has shown that speed kills in this era. Go for DE in rounds 2 and 3 and look for low priced vets cut due to cap issues on other teams that want to play with a contender. Im all for more weapons and a balanced attack a la Green Bay.
  18. I called out the D line last week and I was right. This week they showed up and made plays all down the line. Great job.
